I heard about it in early 2013. The animator Bocodamondo had just opened up a casting call for the second episode of his adaptation, and I was interested in getting into voice acting. I googled the source material, familiarized myself with it to get into character, got cast as Trunks, and have been a loyal reader ever since.

Came across DBM last year when I was typing up "Dragon ball z multiverse theory." I think the chapter was Cell Vs Tapion or the U4 special. Forgot which one.

I don't recall the year exactly but it was when Cell was fighting Dabra, I found out about DBM in a community on Orkut.

I can't give you the exact date, but pretty early on, like roughly before the first Broly special. (I remember loudly complaining about this filler episode I didn't care much for, yada yada.) At the time I still had my own DBZ RPG forum and read other fan-mangas. Sadly, many didn't have the longevity or the intrigue that DBM did. (Not saying DBM is the best, but it's definitly long-lasting [Though if asked, yes, it is the best ]).

It was 2011. I remember how I searched for some information about the new Dragonball-stuff. It turned out to be "Episode of Bardock". So I googled new movie, Spin-off about Bardock or whatever. So, I found DBM. At that time DBM the latest chapter was 21, about the Saiyans rebellion and Bardock.

I don't remember exactly when I started reading DBM, but I remember it was somewhere around the time of Broly vs Vegito fight. I can't even recall if it was right before, during, or after it. But it was somewhere around the time of that fight.
The reason I started reading it was because my current best friend recommended it to me at that time. He told me that I just had to read it so I did.

2011ish. I was googling King Kold 3rd Form designs on dA when I stumbled across a colored page. I quickly tracked the page down to DBM and read the rest of the Kold-Videl fight and thought to myself...this is cool. Then my boy Bardock appeared in the same chapter and I was in nirvana and decided to stick around and then read DBM from start to end. It actually wasn't the first time I had heard of DBM. There was a guy in YouTube "chris200" who used to post Dragonball fancomics online and at the time I was reading Tobyle's Dragonball AF on his page. Accidentally clicked on a Multiverse video and it was Vegito vs. Broly but I thought Broly keeping up with Vegito was dumb so I didn't watch the video. My view on that has since changed.

I started sometime during the Tien/Buu & Bra/Eliem flashback chapter and got caught up around the time Bra/Eliem was starting (around about the time she starts pounding on his shield IIRC) - so April 2014ish
Came after seeing it mentioned on the TV Tropes Article for Absurdly Sharp Blade (re: the Kienzan/Sauzer Blade clash) and decided to give it a read over after getting the link from the maoin works page. Been reading ever since

Back in the day there was a youtube channel called "Dragon Ball Fan Fictions" that showcased many dragon ball related doujinshi's. I discovered Toyble's Dragon Ball AF and Zero, New Age, Ex: Apocalypto, and eventually multiverse. The first few chapters were shown to me, and I saw bits of the epic Vegito fight against Broly. Highly intrigued, I remembered this series and decided to research about it a few days later. Excited that it had its own website (which is unprecedented to me since I thought all DBZ related comics only existed on youtube or deviantart), I read all of the material in one setting and caught up with the then-current page. And unfortunately I was stuck on this: Luckily only two more pages of this arc chapter was left, and I was immediately taken back to the tournament with King Cold fighting against Videl. I've then religiously read every single page that was released by the due date, and grew with this series since 2011. So I am highly invested by this point, and put in six years of my attention to this great project. I've grew up with it, and became one of the few things that kept me interested in DBZ when the series ended in the dubbed. For the most part I never interacted with anyone over the years in the comments section. I was a "shadow lurker", and simply read what others said since I had nothing to say for myself and the fact I dislike the format of it. But when I discovered a wikia, I decided to contribute to it and eventually joined this very forum by late 2016. And that is how I progressed with DBM as a whole. Originally my only complaint was the incredibly horrible release schedule (which has gotten even worse lamentably). But back then my view of it was even worse, and was spoiled from receiving weekly 17 page chapters of shonen material (like Naruto and Bleach). So why couldn't DBM do the same? Over time I realized that a "fan project" is not funded at all, and they did this on their free time to make this for us for free. I learned to appreciate their hard work, and stopped complaining since I knew that I could never do this if placed in their shoes (drawing or time commitment wise). So respect settled in, and accepted on what they can give to us. Granted I still wish the release schedule will improve (like four pages released per week like some specials back in the day), but I understand it is just not feasible. It takes nearly a whole day to make a single page of high quality. And about 20 pages are released per chapter. So about a month (or three weeks) is needed to make a single chapter, but that is underneath the most perfect and ideal circumstances. Challenges in life do happen, so some sacrifices are made in order to handle those problems. And I perfectly understand, but as a consumer, I still wish that improvements can still happen for my own personal, selfish admittance. But no matter what, I am still happy long as high quality pages are released at all, though sometimes I think the storyline has taken a back seat in favor of superior drawing content. Wrath of the Dragon came out in 2006, the last "official" material released since GT was already done, and ultimately began to lose interest since dragon ball was finished. 2008 was the worst year for me since I given up on dragon ball, and brutally believed it would never come back in any format (I do not count Kai or the remastered editions since they are just rewrites of the same material). And this was hard for a 14 year old to do if he has been enjoying this series since the age of 5. Other anime's such as Naruto, Bleach, and Yu Yu Hakusho took its spot, but video games kept the DBZ spirit alive with what-ifs scenarios, and eventually began to dabble into the great world of comic doujinshi by late 2010. Thus my love was nearly restored thanks to the endless possibilities, with multiverse ultimately bringing me back along with New Age. And I stayed on this course until battle of gods came out in 2013, with novel written fan fiction being introduced to me by late 2014. My love is at its highest ever since, though "Super" has been a disappointment for the most part. If I was a kid, I would eat it up without complaints. But now as a adult, I cannot help but scrutinize over the little things anymore. A shame really, but the fan works is what sells me the good stuff anymore. Too bad that the canon material has now fallen behind.
But no matter how long it takes, I am dedicated to see multiverse to the very end. Technically being about half way done tournament bracket wise, I potentially still have another 8 years to fully enjoy this series until it finally ends. I am pleased that at least one form of great DBZ related material will still be here to satisfy my hunger for "good" DBZ related content. Without this, my world will get a little bit darker in terms of good material. I just hope I am still here to see it finished, or better yet continued on in a sequel.

That's pretty much exactly how i got into it- There was no more DBZ and i was never a fan of GT (But i watched it anyway to see more portrayals of our favourite bunch of heroes). I had ironically just discovered fanfiction and was reading through all the DBZ related ones trying to find something good, plus i was also keen on any Goku Vs Superman ones as that was pretty big back in 2013 as i recall. After reading through several good ones, and many more questionable/just plain bad ones, i found DBM as was immediately pulled in by it's excellent illustration and the whole concept (Fights between everyone to see who would beat who etc..) I discovered it when chapter 36 was out, although i can't remember what page it was up to as i went straight back to the start and proceeded to devour it. Either way i loved how all the characters were portrayed and considering it had a consistent release date and was definitely some of the best writing i'd seen- I kept with it regardless of the releases schedule. Although now it's getting really interesting and we only have 2 pages a week can get frustrating at times, even though there's a few other great comics i enjoy online that have the same release schedule (Looking For Group, most notably) Either way though- Im keen as a jelly bean to see where this comic goes! Now we're having some real consequences of bringing people together from other universes and the truly 'serious' fights are going to begin soon!

I discovered DBM in 2013. I was (& still is) a sucker for what-if stories about DBZ. I loved to imagine what will happen if certain event happened differently. I remember I always look for fan-comic for these kind of stories. But the the most what-if that I was curious about was: "What if Goku never hit his head". So, I searched about that And came fact to face with this page: And the rest was history. The most resent page was when Zen Buu begin his rampage: DBM was exactly the comic I was looking for to read; a collection of what-if stories. Not to mention the drawn style was like Toriyama's, so that was also a plus. And not to mention the story was good. So, yeah, I was hooked by it & still is to this day.

I started reading DBM around 2010 or 2011 but I forgot how I discovered it. I think I was watching old DBZ clips on YouTube and some people were recommending some what-if fanfics in the comments so I went to check them out and eventually found DBM. At the time, I never would've predicted I would still be reading it ten years later!
