Since the novel is about to catch up with the current chapter of the tournament, it will have to be put on hold. However we are going to get a short story arc (like the U16 one from Vegetto and Bra) about Zen Buu from U4. What do you expect from it? I am hoping it will be mostly focused on dialogue and introspection just like Vegetto's history was, since I admittedly dislike how Arctika sees PL's. There are presumably only 2 chapters left from the novel (which would make it 150) before reaching the last chapter where the Helior dude fight Cell and Tien is ambushed by the Cell jr. Thoughts?  |

But I do hope it'll move far beyond this. It's not unlikely Hildegarn happened here too, since the Earth's DBalls are still working. Maybe we will see Buu visiting Namek or Metamoru planet. |

Universe 16 novel really did explore a lot of not only Vegetto's character, but how everyone learns and adjusts with him. That is what made that novel so great IMO. Universe 4 should do a good job in exploring how Majin Buu has evolved from absorbing so many people and see him decide what he wants to do with his life and what type of meaning he wants to give it. Seeing him interact with the Z-fighters and their families after he absorbed their loved ones can prove to be a interesting read. Imagine his interactions with the Supreme Kai as well. They know they cannot defeat Buu, so they have to live with him and have to encourage he stays on this non-destructive path to save the rest of the universe. |

A Fanfic about U4 Buu? Yay! I agree with all. This sounds very promising. Maybe we gonna see some special peculiarities dealt only in this universe, similar to the immortal of pandora in U16. I hope this will be more about character, dialogue, interaction and philosophy rather than fighting and powerlevels, too.
Just imagine, Hoi requests Zen Buu to open the music box, similar to DBM chapter 29. Buu's reaction to this and his actions could be very interesting.
In the normal novelization about the tournament, we already found out that Zen Buu declined to absorb people after they requested to be part of Buu, etc. That's really interesting when you think about it. Buu developed into some kind of supreme god in his universe, much more known and powerful than the normal Supreme Kais. People even want to be part of Buu, and I can totally see how Buu after a few thousand started to lose it and developed some kind of schizophrenia. His overwhelming might, which you could argue to be too op for DB and maybe even DBM, could get some facets. Similar to Vegetto, which needs daily Senzu beans just not to die because of his immense metabolism or the anger issues, Buu could face problems of mental issues after absorbing so many people that it could turn little by little into a handicap. And he tries to deal with it. Zen Buu points out several times, that he semingly only absorbs when it's worth it. So, there could be some interesting backgroundstory to this why he doesn't want to absorb every single entity in his universe. And throughout we get some hilarious scenes as well, I hope.  |

Fuck yeah!!! So apparently Buu *cough*Buupool*cough* can break both the 4th Wall and the 5th Wall. Tbh this only seems to reinforce my theory that the Vargas discovered the Multiverse tech with help from Zen Buu. I mean if he's so powerful that he can break the 5th Wall, then it's not a stretch to say that he can Multiverse travel on his own after all if you think about it 5th Wall Breaking is a form of Multiverse travel. Unfortunately this is the best I could find for Buupool, buut it ain't that bad. Needs some red in the color scheme of things and then it'd probably be perfect. If anyone can find better, please share it with me.  |

Chapter 3 is now up. Not gonna bother translating all that but I'll give a brief overview: -Bibidi and Buu keep destroying more planets -This episode isn't done from the point of view of Buu, but from Grand Kaioshin (who is part of Buu now, woah) -The kaioshins watch Buu level a few planets and decide to do nothing (lol) until Grand Kaioshin finally allows them to go -However, even from early on Grand Kaioshin is very curious about Buu, feels compassion for him and thinks he can reason with him (lol -For this reason, he tells North and West Kai that they can go but that they must try to talk to him first (lol) -This is because Grand Kaioshin blames most of his evil/destruction on Bibidi -The chapter ends when the actual flashback filler of DBZ explained by Kibitoshin begins (which will likely also be somehow different)
