Yesterday, I remembered I used to read this thing called "Dragon Ball Multiverse" and that I really liked it.
After so many years, I wondered, was it discontinued? Was it finished? Or still ongoing? I was even afraid the page might have been taken down. Or that there were changes because of Dragon Ball Super. So I checked. I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered that it kept going for all these years. I couldn't resist reading the new chapters. I read all the chapters I haven't read before and I caught up to the latest page.
That was yesterday. Today, I joined this forum.
So who am I? Some of you might remember me if you were active in the comment section of Dragon Ball Multiverse somewhere from 2009 to 2012. But probably not, I was not that active. I did often discuss power levels and who is stronger, however. One especially long discussion that spanned multiple pages was about whether Super Buu was stronger than Kid Buu. I still remember those days and am happy to remember them.
Before I started reading yesterday, there were two members of DBM community that I remembered. They were very active years ago and I interacted with them quite often. Geno (I was not sure whether it was Geno or Genos) and Roketto (whose username I forgot). But yesterday I was reading the comic at a leisurely pace, so I checked the comments occasionally, and sure enough, I found they made posts in the recent years. And there were many other users whom I have forgotten about, sorry about that.
Anyway, I noticed that there was a forum dedicated to DBM. Since the rules on actual pages are now more strict, it seemed like a good idea to join this forum. Another reason why this feels so nostalgic for me is because I haven't registered to a new forum (especially a Dragon Ball one) in a long time. Maybe because I got older or maybe forums are not as common anymore because of Reddit.
I apologize if this is too wordy. I am just somewhat sentimental after returning to a community that I left roughly 7 years ago. That is a long time. A person can greatly change in that time and I think I have. But at the same, I am still me. It is hard to describe the feeling of nostalgia and how glad I am to come back.
TLDR: Many things have happened but I have come back to Dragon Ball Multiverse community after roughly 7 years. I am new to the forum itself and I don't remember my previous username on main DBM page. There have been many new users since then so we probably haven't met yet. But it doesn't matter, I'm glad to meet you. I hope we will get along, keep following Dragon Ball Multiverse and enjoy ourselves.

Well, I can't add much other than saying that by reading your description I think you may really like this place and its pace. We've been going only since late 2016, so almost 3 years.
I'm not sure if you're going to see lots of old timers, but the forum is pretty chillax most of the time. There are a few things that may surprise you time to time but I'll let you find out. Feel free to ask anything although to be fair I'm not sure I'd be able to answer all.
Welcome. Don't get intimidated by our shiny colored nicknames (yellow or super saiyan depending on the theme you're using, in your case I suppose it's green). Those are the designated bands for us cyber janitors.
And as for the Kid Buu vs. Super Buu debate... I really hope you don't think Kid Buu >> Super Buu, do you?

Of course not. Vegetto>Buuhan>Buutenks>Gohan>Super Buu>Gotenks>Kid Buu>=Goku (without Spirit Bomb)
I used to discuss with some who thought that Kid Buu was stronger. Which, to be honest, I understand. Usually, the last villain is supposed to be the strongest one. But of course, it is undeniable that Buuhan was the strongest version of Buu. And Super Buu was capable of fighting Goku easily, not to mention was at least as strong as Gotenks SSj3 who should be significantly stronger than Goku. Kid Buu on the other hand, seems much weaker but more dangerous because he just destroys everything.

Yea as for the recent Geno posts you saw those where basically it, otherwise his hiatus has been going on almost as long as yours.
He used to be my favourite back in the day. The prick got me prematurely excited with his brief return. I actually fangasm'd like a leetle gurl. I don't regret it.

Thanks Allah you had me very worried for a moment there. I think it was the fact you mentioned it itself that made me doubt. Super Buu >> kid Buu is pretty much the consensus here, so if anyone goes mentioning a Kid Buu vs. Super Buu anecdote openly like that, it generally means he has an unpopular opinion about it. Not that we mind that, but in this case this is one of the most beaten topics in DBZ since forums exist. |

Welcome I think I joined back in 2010 or 2011 on the main site and then when VoidSlayer convinced me to join here, I slowly stopped commenting on the main site because this forum is far superior when it comes to discussions for probably 5 reasons:
2) People here tend to be smart and participate in mostly healthy quality intelligent discussions about DBM here. 3) Forum Format just makes better for long term discussions that often times spanned multiple pages of the comment section making it hard to look back for previous parts of the discussion. 4) We can discuss other things here despite the ongoings of DBM. 5) Tight-knit community of fans that to me almost feels like a family of sorts.
