I had been meaning to save this for when the main story continued, but since it's been delayed I didn't feel like waiting any longer.
MAESTRO, CUE THE MUSIC!
The last on-panel Majinization we saw was on page 1263, back in ye olden times, the Year of Our Lord 2016, when Frieza and Cooler got sucked into the Majin gang. Majin Bra was revealed on page 1577, in 2019.
We know that by page 1340, Babadi has ceased Majinizing people and is focused entirely on transforming the arena into a magic room, with all the Majin gang sans Bra revealing themselves on page 1342.
- So here we have Point #1 for when she was actually Majinized, which is just after page 1264 and before page 1340, ignoring the 50 page double special of U8 that lies between them. Just prior to this, Ginyu suddenly starts spouting off that Bra's body is not one of pure good on page 1258, and six pages later Babadi is spouting off about beings corrupted by evil being unable to resist his magic.
Conclusion #1: She was Majinized during the Gast vs. Raichi fight.
If this holds up, why did she wait all the way until page 1577 to reveal herself? Why did she not aid Babadi earlier? Or help out her fellow Majins? After all she is fully subservient to Babadi as stated by both Gohans on page 1604.
Now, our very own Ashanark has put forth a potential second point for when it could've happened. Namely Bardock's Plan B, on page 1570. A mere seven pages away from the reveal of Majin Bra. In this way, Bra not assisting the other Majins can be chalked up to her not even being one herself, and like Goten or U9 Yamcha, was not even aware of what was happening outside.
Conclusion #2: She was Majinized as "Bardock's Plan B".
Now, I've talked with Ash a while on this subject and I have come to the answer that Bra was, in fact, Majinized much earlier than Conclusion #2 and was most likely Majinized in Conclusion #1.
The evidence lies with but one character. It is not Babadi nor even Bra herself, nay, it lies with the epitome of Perfection. Cell tells us the answer.
For this we must move forward to page 1627, where we are treated to a flashback of Cell forming a plan with the Heliors. The events in question originally occur on page 1538.
I can already hear your pitiful attempts at defense. "This proves nothing about Bra!" you shout. "All this proves is that Cell has escaped Babadi's control!"
Hue hue hue...
Next we must consider a different Cell flashback, but this time the events happen much earlier, shortly before the events of pages 1340-1342. On page 1519 we are treated to Cell creating a tidy batch of Cell Jrs, upon which he remarks "Phew! Three more at max power should be enough to pin Universe 18. I'll handle Universe 16."
Oh really? Cell will handle Universe 16? Is he not accounting for Bra? Is he overconfident, perhaps, reveling in his new Majin power? Or does he think he can handle Universe 16 since Bra won't be an issue because she's already a Majin?!
Your honor, let us continue this cavalcade of evidence with Page 1602! Herein, Cell remarks that "Alone, I couldn't possibly defeat Son Bra. So I motivated the Gohans like hell, and kept allies without Babadi realizing." Cell's "motivation" of the Gohans included killing both Videls on pages 1564 and 1565, in addition to simply challenging Gohan to a fight earlier, with a dash of personal reasons as well on page 1368.
I'm not finished yet! There's also the case of the curious Mini-Cell Jrs. When would they have hopped onto each respective Gohan? Now, theoretically they could've occurred almost at any time prior to their first reveal on page 1622 in space, and all they would require is to simply hop on via IT, while also doing it in the bedlam of battle, while also going completely unnoticed. Especially since Cell and U18 Gohan never directly interact after the latter fires a blast at him. But what if there were an opportunity before the battle started, when Cell and his posse of Cell Jrs were within extremely close range of both Gohans and could perhaps allow a Mini-Jr to slip on unnoticed and discreetly? Say...ON PAGE 1345?!
I will freely admit that now I'm simply theorizing, but if true this would indicate that Cell has indeed been anticipating and planning on fighting against Bra ever since the Rebellion began! For what other reason would he deploy the Mini-Jrs? If he simply expected Bra to not be Majinized, at best they might be able to teleport some Gohans away, but Bra herself would be too much for him, as we see throughout the battle.
This last bit is confirmed by none other than Bra herself on page 1628, where she states "Since the beginning...Cell's been creating allies!" So from the very beginning, as early as page 1342, Cell has been actively planning for when he would reveal his true colors and switch sides to fight against Bra herself! This also proves just how much of a dunce U16 Gohan is, as he had trouble coming to terms with Majin Bra whereas Cell hasn't even properly interacted with her and was planning for the truth!
The Mini-Jrs, saving the Heliors, killing the Videls, all one massive bid from the beginning... all aimed squarely against Bra.
In conclusion, Bra's failure to appear earlier in the battle to either aid her master or her fellow Majins is idiocy to the highest degree, both from Bra herself as well as Babadi for not calling sooner for her aid. Even if she were NOT Majinized yet as Ashanark theorizes, it means that Cell had been planning all along for such an eventuality, and U16 Gohan, who has known her all her life...simply didn't see it coming as we see on page 1577 and the subsequent pages as he expositions with U18 Gohan.
But then again, what can one expect when one is Perfection Personified? I rest my case.
EDIT:
YOUR HONOR, NEW EVIDENCE HAS COME TO LIGHT!
On page 1334, while Gast is fighting against Hatchiyack, we are treated to a scene of Babadi enjoying Hatchi's REEEEEEEEEs.
As we can see, he is observing the fight. This is a mere seven pages before the aforementioned page 1340, where Buu states that Babadi "has not moved for five minutes". Meaning we can now narrow down the time to Majin to at least by page 1334!
So Babadi could possibly have Majinized Bra as soon as page 1264, when Bra entered the apartments, and no later than 1334!
