Thing is that only evil entities are purified, memory-wiped, and reincarnated.

If you think about it that kind of sucks, having to spend your eternal afterlife as the same person. Goku and Vegeta will have to put up with their wives yelling at them forever. At least until Zeno decides he's getting bored and wipes you out of existence in a game with his future self.

Has it ever been explained why Goku didn't reincarnate in the ten years he spent dead? From what I remember is Goku was given a choice for all the good deeds he had done, go to Heaven or keep his body and be allowed to train with the Kai. Goku chose to train he likely wasn't reincarnated. Had he gone to Heaven he probably would have enjoyed a good afterlife until it was time for his soul to reincarnate.

As Son Pan pointed out, Goku and Vegeta likely will be given the option to train in the afterlife among other warriors. Those worthy warriors of good that have earned the right to keep their bodies in Other World get to choose whether or not they go on to Heaven or can stay in Other World to train among other legendary warriors that have died throughout the history of the Universe. Seeing as they like to train to become stronger, they'll likely choose that option. Even if they did choose to go to Heaven, they wouldn't have to put up with their wives yelling at them. Heaven is paradise and therefore would be pleasing to everyone. Also just like how it seems Frieza got his own personal Hell, the same thing probably would be true for Heaven. I honestly find that a likely reality since every person would have their own idea for what would be a paradise for them, just like everyone has their own idea for the worst possible place of torment.

Goku's saved the Earth dozens of times and it never stopped ChiChi from yelling at him for some reason or another. This is the same woman who found a reason to yell at Goku when he brought home 1 million zeni.

Seeing as anger would be outside that, it would go to reason they wouldn't lose their tempers. There'd be no reason for them to lose their tempers anymore. Things that would produce anger in them wouldn't exist in Heaven. Seeing as different people have different things that make them angry and those things not existing might clash with someone's idea of utter joy and bliss, that leads me to believe it is very much likely each soul would have their own personal Heaven. It would cater to them to make it to where they experienced utter joy and bliss for the rest of eternity, just in the same way that Frieza's Hell makes him angry and suffer from the annoyance of it all. As for 1 million zeni, oh you are woefully ignorant to how much that really is especially to the Son Family. 1 million zeni is about $9,038. You might think that to be quite a lot of money and for most families you'd be right. The thing is that the amount of money the Son Family spends on their weekly grocery bill is around $3,310. This would mean that 1 million zeni only really provides food for almost 3 weeks. That's just food. Also I think you are talking about the zeni which Mr. Satan gave him, right? That was actually 100 million, but that's besides the point. I just thought I'd inform you how much money the Son Family spends on food per week. To put that in a yearly amount, they spend around $172,295.25 per year on food. My source for this is a MasakoX video where he used material from episode of Dragon Ball Super where Goku when shopping for the weekly groceries, did the math and converted it to Yen, Pounds, and US dollars. He was able to do that since Toriyama has canonically said in the past that 1 zeni = 1 yen.

I think it would be the opposite myself. I mean you go to Heaven and your spouse joins you. You both get enjoy paradise for a time until it is time for your souls to reincarnate. At which point all your memories are erased and you are reborn as new people with no memory of your time together and possibly being separated forever. As much as Goku and Vegeta bicker with their spouses they do love each other. It would suck to lose that memory and know it is going to happen.

You're forgetting that DBZ, at least when it comes to the supernatural, loves to parody stuff. Their Hell before Super had the usual lava, flames, horned trolls and demons, but it had an amusement park and was actually a pretty fun place. If they actually wrote Heaven based off the stereotypes down to the letter without some parodies, I'd be amazed. I don't think any DBZ adaption will ever have a Bulma or ChiChi that don't blow their tops, afterlife or no afterlife. 2. You're right that the Son family should have a lot of expenses food wise, but you've got to keep in mind how little time Goku really spends at his home nowadays. My guess is he eats at his house maybe three times a week at most, although it's anyone's guess really. And to be honest I'd be doing backflips for my spouse if they brought home that kind of money, poverty or not.

And to be honest I'd be doing backflips for my spouse if they brought home that kind of money, poverty or not. 1. Exactly, the Hell before then was filler aka non-canon and when Toriyama introduced the canonical Hell of Frieza, he showed that it was a place that Frieza absolutely hated. Hell they revealed ended up being a personal Hell for each being so they can have their souls purified, their memories-wiped, and reincarnated. Frieza managed to avoid that and keep his identity and memories because his personal hatred for the Saiyans especially Goku. Likely I would imagine that Heaven follows the same concept as Hell just in the opposite sense. Each soul would have it's own personal Heaven that would be the Ultimate Paradise for them where they experience nothing, but happiness for the rest of eternity. Now of course, I imagine there would be some stuff to make it funny, but I don't think that Bulma or Chi-Chi would experience any episodes of anger. Maybe they'd make it funny by having in their personal Heavens replicas of their families, where their husbands do everything to make them happy, so we'd get different versions of Goku and Vegeta that exist to make their wives happy forever. 2. Well those expenses were calculated from the grocery list that Chi-Chi gave Goku. If that calculated him not being there as much, then it is possible their yearly grocery cost could be much higher than that. Also I don't know if you've been watching the sub of Super, but... (in Spoiler below in case you do watch the dub only and not the sub)Goku is home more often than you think. Sure he went away to train with King Kai for a while in the beginning of Super and after the BoG arc, he had some times where he spent time away training with Whis, but he actually is home a lot. Chi-Chi doesn't let him train endlessly and it has shown even more recently that Vegeta often trains on Beerus' planet with Whis only without there training with him too.

Meh I stand by what I said, no dimension of living exists where ChiChi and Bulma don't blow their tops. Even the benefits of an eternal paradise can't change someone's inherent personality quirks. Vegeta's paradise will likely be beating the crap out of Goku for all time. Goku himself will probably pick a world where all he has to do is eat and train.

Their paradises wouldn't contain anything that could trigger their anger. Anger needs a trigger and if there is never a trigger then anger won't happen. Seeing as we can't seem to come to an agreement. I think this is where it would be a good idea to agree to disagree. No point in taking the conversation in circles. As for Vegeta's paradise, I see that being a likely possibility. As for the personal Heaven, you wouldn't pick it. It would be designed to be your personal paradise. By design it would make sure you remained happy for all eternity. Goku's paradise would likely consist of eating and training, but it would also consist of fighting strong opponents (friend and foes alike). Likely his paradise might consist of him being able to fight stronger and stronger versions of his previous opponents along with the eating and training. Some he'd win against and some he'd lose against. That would allow him to need to train and eating would happen because he'd want delicious food. From time to time a new foe might be introduced into the mix and well that is how his paradise would be.

I mean because a lot of the shit of Chi-chi and Bulma blowing up over every little thing was exaggerated in DBZ anime for comedy purposes. In the original manga both characters started becoming more mellow as the series went by to the point that Chi-chi is training Goten to fight and wasn't screaming at Goku for teaching Goten and Trunks fusion to fight Majin Buu (in the manga at least). Bulma stopped being a so self centered and bitchy when Trunks was born. If they all went to Heaven together they probably wouldn't bicker that much, at least if we're going by the original manga. I have no doubt Toriyama made them raging over every little thing because that is how he and fans remember them as, just like he made Goku dumber, Krillin more cowardly, Gohan more wimpy, and Goten and Trunks as eternal kids.
