Okay so we all know that the entire Universe gets erased and all things/people from it too even if they aren't in the Universe at the time. The question is would this apply to people from a Universe getting erased that was in another Universe when it happened and not the Void where the ToP is taking place? What makes me wonder about this is how the locket also was erased even though it was no longer being worn by the guy from U10.
Ex: What-if someone that was born in U10 has been living in U6 for the past 5 years, would that person get erased since he/she had originally come from U10?
Note: I didn't know what the put after the "Universe Erasure:" part in the title of the thread. If you have something that would work better, please throw it out there.

I believe that even if you moved from one Universe to the next you'd still be erased. I mean when Goku Black showed up Beerus and Whis were able to deduce that he was from Universe 10, despite being in Goku's body. I think this stems from the Ki signature of each inhabitant has a distinctive feel to it for each Universe. So Zeno is able to somehow hone it and erase everyone from a specific Universe. I mean how he's able to it is just strange considering he has the attention span of a five year old.

I mean how he's able to it is just strange considering he has the attention span of a five year old. Actually the reason Goku Black had a different Ki signature from Goku is due to the fact that two components that make up Ki switched when Goku & Zamasu switched bodies. Ki is made up of 3 components: Genki (Energy), Yuki (Courage), & Shoki (Mind). So only Goku's energy remained in his body when Zamasu took control. The other two components were the ones Zamasu originally had, which was why Beerus & Whis thought Goku Black's Ki felt so similar to Zamasu's Ki. Basically Goku Black's Ki was 2/3rds Zamasu's Ki and 1/3 Goku's Ki. Goku Black's Ki: Goku's Genki, Zamasu's Yuki, & Zamasu's Shoki Son Zamasu's Ki: Zamasu's Genki, Goku's Yuki, & Goku's Shoki I hope that better helps you understand why Goku Black's Ki felt nearly identical to Zamasu's Ki. It wasn't a Universe thing. It was a components thing.

I think so just based on Gohan seeing the locket disappear like you mentioned. Zeno probably can choose who gets erased and who doesn't. If he wants to erase everything from U6 that exists and Hit is in U4 doing a job he probably also gets erased with U6.

I meant it like if someone had stopped living in their original Universe and had become a resident of a different one. Like ya know if a US citizen moved to Britain, gained citizenship in Britain, and then renounced their US citizenship, but on the grander scale of Universes. Ya get what I'm saying? Does erasing an entire Universe erase based off those who originally lived there or those that are currently there and those that came from there in case of them being in the Void Space? Oh and if it does work the way you think it does, if Zen-Oh wanted to destroy U4 and it's inhabitants and Hit was there on a job, would Hit magically find himself back in U6 or would he become an unfortunate unintended victim?

I have two thoughts to this. 1) Zeno probably has to officially recognize a person as being part of the universe they were not born in. I suggest this because we know Beerus and Champa are brothers, but each of them are god of destruction in different universes. So it means one of them can't be a native in the universe they are in charge in (and there is a possibility neither are native to U6 and U7 respectively). We know Beerus and Champa will only be erased if the universe they are in charge of is erased. For that to be possible it must mean Zeno recognizes them as part of the universes they work in. If Zeno say wants to erase every last trace of U6 if they get knocked out of the tournament then everything in U6 even if it is in a different universe gets erased unless that someone is recognized as being part of a different universe. However, I think this would require special circumstances and Zeno only does it when a new position in gods opens up and gets someone from a different universe to fill in the position. I doubt if Cabba moved to U7 on his own would allow him to escape eraser unless Zeno gives his stamp of approval. 2) I think it depends on what Zeno wants to do and or he uses his power. If he wants to erase everything about a universe than I think if someone or something is in a different universe at the time they get erased. However, I think Zeno can just erase a universe and leave natives in a different universe alive. This would explain why Future Trunks and Mai weren't erased when Future Zeno erased their U7. In the situation of ToP he likely just wants to erase everything from the losing universes so he makes it a mass effect across the multiverse to clean house rather than doing it in a specific way that might say let someone like Cabba who was born in U6 to be spared if he moved to U10 and lived there for like a decade. That is my two cents on it at least.

That is my two cents on it at least. Makes sense. In the sense of Future Trunks and Mai, it could've been one of four other possible reasons that he spared them. 1) They were allies to the one who summoned him and asked for his help, so he spared them knowing that they were close to someone an alternate version of himself held in high regards. 2) He thought they were from the other timeline's Multiverse, so he spared them for that reason. It is rather obvious that he isn't omniscient, so it's possible he might make such a mistake. He only seems to be omnipotent or at least nigh-omnipotent. 3) He didn't feel the need to expend the extra energy to eliminate a non-threat so close by to him due to knowing that they couldn't survive in the empty void left behind. Remember everyone to rush back into the Time Machine and escape back to the main timeline before they risked deletion themselves. 4) Similar to 3, his erasure just hadn't gotten around to erasing them yet. It wasn't 100% clear, but it seemed possible that everything was being erased from the outside in towards the center with his location being considered the center that would be destroyed last. For all we know, if Goku hadn't taken him to the main timeline, Future Zen-Oh might've been erased along with that timeline's Multiverse too as soon as he was the last thing in existence that needed to be erased.
