Fight of the Century: Z-Fighters Vs Androids

Not bad at all. As expected the vast majority choose the androids instead of the z-fighters. Admirable and obviously the most logical choice, but I think nearly everyone here has downplayed the z-fighters significance since they are significantly weaker than the androids regardless of the rule restrictions. Unlike canon when the z-fighters fought the androids, four unique additions have been made to the z-fighters roster along with a simple change. And they are...

1. Gohan

2. Chiaotzu

3. Yamcha

4. Krillin (not afraid of Eighteen charms)

5. Goku (Most important)

The fact these guys are contributing is huge since power isn't everything in combat. Yes, not even in DBZ. And with Goku being there, his stature alone boosts everyone's morals and makes them want to fight harder than ever (minus Vegeta of course). And as a miracle worker, Goku usually wins when things are stacked against him such as the fate of the world. A proven fact in his line of work. And lucky for the z-fighters, the androids only have information on them up to the Saiyans Saga. So Future Trunks, super saiyan, and any unseen techniques such as the Big Bang Attack will not be in the androids memory.

But Xeno, how does any of this matter if they are still going to lose in the end? Allow me to explain how I see things turning out. A plausible scenario I have been envisioning for some time now.

Upon being on the Southern Continent, I see Android 17 taking charge and demanding to fight goku, but Android 16 steps forward to fight the saiyan hero. Failing to convince the androids to stop their planned genocide, Goku does something that intrigues the three androids.



Now as a super saiyan, he challenges Android 16 alone that results in a fierce battle. Vegeta, not wanting to be left out, demands a fight with the two remaining androids. Interested, Android 17 steps forward and challenges the prince of all saiyans to their death match. But just like Goku, Vegeta too transforms into a super saiyan, surprising Android 17 and everyone else on the Z Team. Piccolo even believes he is stronger than Goku, a testament of his hard training.



And then Vegeta fights against 17 in their bloody fight to the death. And as a prideful saiyan warrior, he goes in alone despite the protests of Trunks.

As the remaining android, 18 challenges everyone left. Everyone gets into their battle stances while Piccolo removes his weighted cape and turban. But the most surprising thing to 18 was Trunks also becoming a super saiyan, though she immediately regains her composure. But seeing the mighty super saiyan who slain Frieza ignites a fire among the human cast. Hope creeps into their hearts.



And the seven z-fighters battle against Android 18 with everything they have....

Back to the Goku vs 16 portion, at first Goku was going easy but quickly realizes that he needs his full power. But despite being at his maximum, 16 easily matches and overpowers him with everything he does being defeated. Kamehameha, solar flare, and even instant transmission is bested, forcing Goku's hands real quick in this duel. And at its current pace, things are looking mighty grim for the warrior. But not one to give up or lose faith, he goes in strong against such a impossible foe.



Goku: "I know Trunks said they were going to be tough, but man is this rough."
Sixteen simply stares at Goku, waiting for him to get up.
Goku: I know you must have a weakness. I won't lose."
16: No Goku. You are going to die. You must in the name of Dr. Gero."
Goku: "Well don't COUNT ON IT!"
Goku immediately charges at 16, reigniting their battle for round 2.

As for Vegeta, he is faring slightly better than Goku, but is still on the receiving end. In canon against 18, she had to use her full power to easily overpower Vegeta. But against 17 who is slightly stronger, it is clear where Vegeta stands at in the newfound pecking order.



But refusing to give up, he stays going in regardless of the outcome. After all, only he can kill Kakarot, not that red haired buffoon that looks like a cheap terminator. Never...

But with his strongest technique, the Big Bang Attack failed, can he really? As for Android 17, he is having too much fun to kill Vegeta just yet. No, more screams need to be etched from Vegeta's throat before the final blow is delivered.

Vegeta: "Mark my words, I am going to finish you no matter the cost."
Vegeta balls his fist in front of him, igniting his golden aura once again.
17: "Heh, I am honestly surprised you've lasted this long. But expect your luck to run out real soon."
Vegeta: Let's see you try. HYAAAAA!"
With renewed vigor, Vegeta continues his duel against the deranged cyborg.

As for the third skirmish, Android 18 is easily beating up everyone. Already feeling their legs becoming jelly, things are looking desperate against the femme fatale. 



Feeling desperate, Trunks attempts to cut the female doges eyes out with Tapion's Brave Sword. But he is shocked when this happens...



With his only option gone, Trunks curses and damns his luck along with the whole planet. Feeling like the past will become a worse variant than his future, Trunks wishes that he was just as strong as either Goku, Vegeta, or Future Gohan as he is knocked away. Sensing how hard Goku and his father is fighting, Trunks mans up and casts away his doubts and self loathing. If he don't who will? Wounded, he discards his broken sword and capsule corps jacket, vowing to win despite having no realistic chance. Getting annoyed by all of the vermin, 18 decides to kill them all, shocking both Gohan and Krillin. Piccolo gets on one knee as Yamcha rolls over on his stomach in prone position.

But this is where Chiaotzu comes into play...

Not planning on blowing himself up again while largely hanging in the shadows, he does something that Jaquan has suggested. Using telekinesis, he successfully stops 18 dead in her tracks. She curses since her systems are not strong enough to resist the Psychic move. With no other options left on the battlefield, Tien flies high into the air and tells everyone to get away. Forming his iconic Neo Tri-Beam, he begins to blast dozens of them at the downed female. 



In canon it was powerful enough to stall Semi-Perfect Cell, so against a opponent two tiers weaker, it actually severely damages her while being unable to defend or raise her energy shield. After firing his last one, Tien is nearly out of energy while everyone believes he did it. Regrouping, they decide their next course of action against the other two before terror strikes again...



Dumb founded, she quickly kills Tien to prevent another scare such as this. But now heavily injured, she is desperate to win now. Krillin, enraged to see a dear friends death against such a beauty, he vows to win as she approaches to kill Chiaotzu. Despite being wounded, Krillin surprisingly does well against 18 briefly thanks to his anger and her extensive injuries affecting her circuits. With no other options left, Krillin does the impossible...



With a well placed solar flare and kienzan, Krillin manages to dispatch Android 18 despite wishing he could have saved her instead. And despite having info on the moves, her weakened reflexes and surprise at Krillin's anger causes her to get caught off guard and die. Not able to mourn Tien's passing, the remaining six, albeit extremely tired, split into groups of three to assist the two super saiyans in peril.

1. Trunks, Piccolo, and Yamcha assist Vegeta.

2. Krillin, Gohan, and Chiaotzu assist Goku.

In Goku's case, he is in bad shape and is utterly desperate for any edge. But 16 constantly beats him again and again, which slowly corrodes Goku's morals about achieving victory. His only option now is the spirit bomb, but since 16 knows nearly everything about him, can he pull it off? Especially as a super saiyan since powering down will make him easier to kill?



Yet to his astonishment, his son, best friend, and psychic pal arrive to assist him. Annoyed, Android 16 tells them to leave in his duel of fates, but they refuse to abandon their hero. pitched at this fact while saddened by 18's passing, 16 ultimately decides to push them away so that he can get back to Goku.

Even if it now means he gets serious.....

All four z-fighters brace for impact, ready to battle the Goliath of a android.

Back in Vegeta's case, he is in his makeshift grave ready to die. Everything he has done has been futile, and now awaits death at the hands of Android 17.



But luckily for him, it was postponed from the destruction of Android 18, greatly shocking and enraging 17. And to Vegeta's secret relief and 17's anger, Vegeta's future son, namekian comrade, and worthless human associate come by his side. Vowing to kill them all, Android 17 prepares to slay them as Vegeta's stands up once again via help from Trunks spare energy. Powering up to his available max along with his son, Vegeta is prepared to lay it all down. But tired of the antics, Android 17 decides to go all out, no longer in a playing mood.



But back to the Sixteen fight, Krillin and Chiaotzu are knocked out with Gohan coughing up blood on his knees. Sixteen is too much and easily defeated them in a single blow. How could they ever think they could defeat somebody such as him? Goku is once again on the receiving end, and takes in too much damage too fast from the android. At his lowest with 16 being at his highest, Goku is beaten so badly that he loses his super saiyan transformation. The lost of his super saiyan transformation greatly shocks Vegeta and Future Trunks. Barely holding on to consciousness, Goku fails to block a Hells Flash, thus gets buried in the landscape as his power level seemingly vanishes. Pleased with his target objective completed, Android 16 decides to stay back and let 17 kill everyone off. Burdened with failure and the lost of his father, Gohan digs into his rage and springs into his hidden potential. Becoming the fourth super saiyan in existence, Gohan vows to destroy 16 no matter what regardless of their shared pacifistic ways.



But unbeknownst to everyone, Goku survived 16's killer move by a thread. Thanking the stars for such a miracle, Goku stretches out his arms and begins to focus in all of the available energy around the cosmos.

The spirit bomb is his last hope....

But back to the 17 fight, Piccolo is laid out with Yamcha being killed, the second fatality among the z-fighters.



Despite their best efforts, both Vegeta and Trunks are no match for seventeen and are put in their place. Afraid to lose, Trunks continues on but is beaten out of his own super saiyan transformation. But before he was killed, Vegeta intervenes to save his son, but is rewarded with a nice beating as well. Losing his own super saiyan form, he too is spared from death from a nicely placed Special Beam Cannon from Piccolo. Now with a wounded shoulder, 17 is shocked to see "another" Piccolo standing and quickly figures out that Piccolo split into two identical bodies. Enraged, 17 quickly kills both, thus dooming Piccolo to the grave as the third fatality. With all hope seemed lost, Vegeta curses as Trunks loses face. But surprisingly Gohan's power skyrockets, inflated from sensing Piccolo's passing. And then the young hybrid briefly fights both 17 and 16, but is defeated within two blows and knocked to his stomach. Refusing to let go of the super saiyan transformation, Gohan angrily cries while blaming the deaths of his father, mentor, and two comrades at the hands of the androids. Feeling sadistic, 17 begins to torture Gohan until he also loses his transformation. 

Thus the heroes are finally at the complete mercy of the androids....

Or so they thought?

Every living z-fighter heard a familiar, but calm voice in their subconscious mind. Slowly it became more fierce, and stirred them to take action. All of them slowly lifted their hands up and gave up the remainder of their energy to this voice. Even Vegeta abided, and was the only one to realize who this voice was...

Son Goku was alive!

Hovering in the air, Android 17 prepared to bomb the whole area, but 16 quickly senses a disgusting power and lamentably admits that Goku still breathes. Suddenly they noticed a huge spirit bomb in the sky and quickly figure out what it is. Siphoning out some of the spirit bombs power, Goku reignites his super saiyan transformation and takes a gamble that has never been attempted before.



Absorbing the entire spirit bomb that been empowered by three super saiyans, two super humans, the whole earth and various planets, Goku's power level skyrockets to uncharted levels. With his muscles swelling, Goku is filled with unbridled rage and vows to kill both 17 and 16. And thanks to the incredible boost, Goku destroys Android 17 eventually with a well-placed Super Kamehameha before setting his sole sights on 16. And surprisingly they are nearly equals, though Goku for once has the edge. 

But eventually Goku's massive boost starts to wear off, thus bringing in extreme fatigue. Refusing to use the kaioken in fear of immediately dying off from a "Super Kaioken", Goku channels most of his remaining power and fires it off as a super kamehameha. 16 retorts with another Hell Flash, thus creating a beam struggle of epic proportions. However Goku is losing ground by the second, but eventually pours into his very own life force to finally overpower 16. With sixteen seemingly dead, Goku lets go of the extraordinary power and allows his body to fall apart. But when the dust finally settles and before the z-fighters could regroup and rejoice, sixteen comes forth, though heavily messed up.



Not wanting to miss his only chance, sixteen wordlessly picks up Goku by the throat and starts his self destruction sequence. Unable to escape via instant transmission or breaking free, Goku accepts his fate as both he and 16 die together in a glorious explosion.



And the battle has been decided, though it came with a heavy cost. With the lost of four z-fighters including the dragon balls, the remainder recover from the battle before venturing to New Namek. And with the help of Porunga, all of the damage on Earth is fixed, thus allowing Earth to carry on.
