I can't recall what gokus plan is, but if its avoiding the fight to fight him 1 on 1, then why the fuck did he team up with piccolo to fight radditz?
also the last page with yamcha and tien tag teaming the jr parallels the same release with goku and hit tag teaming the jiren. Nice. I wish goku did more 2 on 1 battles.
Goku and piccolo vs garlic jr was nice too.

Some interesting parallels, and opposites.
piccolo is dominating in dbm, where as he's outclassed in db.
vegeta comments on freezas incredible power in his 2nd form.
Kold in his 6th form that is infinitely stronger than freezas 2nd form is being over whelmed by weaker guys with weird powers.
As much as I like db showing off piccolos power up, short lived as that dominance was, I like piccolos dominant presence better.

As critical as I have been on Ginyu plot I really do love the page of Ginyu stealing Shin's body and slitting his own throat with wicked grin on Shin's face. Gohan is so hopeful that his big green surrogate dad can actually beat Freeza. He still hasn't realized the pattern for their world yet. Piccolo can do while against a strong opponent or win a battle, but he won't win the war.
