Except I think you are working under a false understanding of what make a plot hole a plot hole. A plot hole is when something said later on in a story is inconsistent with what was previously established to be true and there is no means of providing a reasonable explanation to explain it so that it doesn't contradict what was already established. Seeing as I've provided a means to explain it that is both simple and doesn't contradict what was already established then it's not a plot hole for the time being and will only become one if Magic Materialism is further expanded upon by the canon of the story and that further expansion doesn't fit with my explanation and also kills off any other means of logically explaining it in a way that doesn't contradict what's been established by the canon.
right.so it should be impossible for kami to make db's based on the premise. it should be impossible for them to find the super db's. it should be impossible to carve said shards off even if they did find them. its not explained how they could or would have the means to do any of these things either. as to magic materialization, you keep saying that, but so far all piccolo did was make a sword and clothes. and a sand clock. magic materialization doesn't explain finding the damn things in the 1st place. by your own definition supplied, its unlikely, and in some cases impossible.
Not if Magic Materialism actually summons the desired items from wherever they may be regardless of whether the user of Magic Materialism knows where those objects may be. For example the creation of new Dragon Balls would summon material from the Super DBs to then craft into a new set of DBs, but the restoration of older DBs like what Dende did wouldn't require such as Dende isn't even using Magic Materialism in the first place most likely.

you made that up. it depends on the magic summoning things. if it was that simple, piccolo could just summon the dragon balls when he wants. or dende could just summon the db's on namek. or guru for that matter! any namekian could wisk the db's away from freeza by summoning it! that only adds more plot holes!

Not if there are certain things that can't be summoned OR if some things can only be created if they have some material as a catalyst. And of course I made that up; they don't call it head canon for nothing ya know. Still if something that can be explained logically without jumping thru a billion hoops then it isn't a plot hole and I don't think my explanation needs a bunch of hoops to jump thru to do it especially with the final bit of polishing you just helped me out with. Remember I did come up with my idea thanks to what you said, so of course it makes sense that it wouldn't be fully thought out and still needed a bit of polishing to be complete and thanks to you I think I have managed to polish out all the kinks it had to begin with.

ok, so if they can't summon the regular db's, made from the super db shards, they can't summon the super db shards. you are giving nameks teleportation magic that doesn't exist until the shunkaido, or the kai kai. only babadi has shown teleportation magic that doesn't involve him. your plot holes keep getting bigger.

No they aren't. You're just interpreting my head-canon in a way that makes them seem to be growing even bigger. Anyways it's my head-canon, you don't have to like it; I'm not trying to force you to like it. If you don't like it, then feel free to disregard it since it seems like you can't seem to understand it from my perspective and I typically am terrible at explaining things, so I'm not sure if I could do any better a job of explaining it than I already have.

ok, head canon is fine. but it still is a plot hole in the main actual canon.

It isn't a plot hole since it can be explained easily enough in a way that doesn't contradict the original story, but if you wish to interpret it as such then that's your choice to make.
