Well it seems the story is finally building to something. I still want to know which year is this story taking place. It seems from Salagir's answer it was before the cataclysm: Q. Namekseijin Densetsu. Is it compatible to DBM like the Hanasia Fanfic? Did Namekseijin Densetsu happened in all universes except U2 & U5?
Salagir: Kind of. That is the main reason we started with that. I thought the story is very interesting & quite compatible with DBM. And actually, although in the form it's not compatible - I will explain why. In the story, we're currently drawn a special chapter which will echo this Namekseijin story. The main different is that Goten-Kun when he did the story which take place hundreds of years before, & it is take place before cataclysm. And I thought we can do something more fun. Before the cataclysm, the namekians were much more full grown society. So. we have been having fun imagining the society before the cataclysm. Having many cities, big towns. Namekians being not just planting stuff, because that's what they're doing. they're working on making the planet great again. But before that, they were living in a planet which is perfect to began with, so they didn't need to do that. They spend their time taking care of themselves, making arts, music, & great cities. And I told a little about that in one of last Hanasia's chapters in part 4, so you can read about it. That will be the different. And yes, the story happened in most of the universes. (53:27 min - part 2) So, this was definitely before the Nameless Namekian was born. But Salagir also talked about big cities or whatever, but I don't see the planet is much different than the one we know.

Congrats being the first one to message on the thread 😃 Well it seems the story is finally building to something. I still want to know which year is this story taking place. But Salagir also talked about big cities or whatever, but I don't see the planet is much different than the one we know. Seeing as how they have 2 space ships ready for space travel, I can imagine this version of Namek is much more prosperous than it was before the cataclysm. So the event or something else must've destroyed their society to de degraded to only 100-ish members of the race and do farming.

The newest page looks promising to start giving us exposition soon.
Although I don't really like how it's been placed but I can understand that most of the no-text panels are for more emotional showcasing.

I support new ideas and see value of no text panels and giving pause for 'showcasing' but it's been a grind with lack of information or anything insightful. It's unfortunately been a bit tedious for the past few pages.

So a lot has happened since the last post here in the fanfic and things are getting interesting. Though it's dumb and sad to see communication breakdown that is actually giving the murderous pirate an advantage when before he was toast.
Helix overplayed his hand. He should have either never mentioned his intentions to begin with or he should have just taken the Saichoro spot by force from the beginning if that was his intention and if his excuse was to protect people from psychos like Goku-Crack. So Helix himself might just very well be a bad guy himself to be doing this WHILE there is a threat (Helix could have already killed Goku-Crack right then and there) and like someone said, he was full of shit hence the vague statements at the beginning.
I know somebody made a comparison saying that Helix was the cop stopping the criminal, but the problem is cops themselves don't always have good intentions (especially these days where they act more like a mafia that plays savior as long as they get to have more and more power, resources and control). Like sure, the criminal is obviously the bad guy but so is the cop in this case, the cop being Helix and the criminal being Goku-Crack. Goku-Crack is the more immediate danger but Helix confesses to wanting to take a high position of authority by force, which even more so makes him trouble especially since he is more powerful than Goku-Crack. And I think this is why the other Namekians are responding to Helix as a threat to protect the Saichoro.

This story is honestly really boring. It's been almost 130 pages and all we really learned about Namek is the origins of the Warrior and Dragon clans.
It is going at a MUCH slower place than Multiverse and that's the cause of this problem; Multiverse's pacing is lightning fast with tons of things happening in each chapter, but it ends up feeling slow because of the few pages we get each week. This story is slow AND it has a slow release schedule, so it's going to take a really long time before anything interesting happens

The issues with the pacing are actually with the release schedule. It's like Dragon Ball Multiverse, which has a lightning fast pace but it updates so slowly that the story feels a lot slower than it actually is. This story has a slower release schedule and a relatively average pace... not a good combo.
As for criticism for the actual story, I REALLY don't like how an event as big as the Namekian Cataclysm, something that we knew was huge for the Namekian race and we only got vague hints of what it was like... is caused by some resented Freeza Soldier who isn't even strong enough to blow it up.
It just feels anticlimatic.
Could've had an arc about Helix and the Warrior clan eventually going berserk and causing a war with the Dragon Clan, one intense enough that it ends up messing up the planet's environment completely. This would cause the cataclysm, and the two tribes would realize their mistake at the last second and reunite once again to save whatever is left of the Namekian race.
This "Civil War" arc would also have given us more room to develop Kattats and the Nameless Namekian instead of just throwing them into the story like this (I genuinely didn't realize these characters were in the story until I read this thread).
Just a random, undeveloped idea but it's more interesting than "those space gangsters came back and the leader now wants to blow up the planet"
