The novelization has pretty much wrapped up the "Legacy of Vegetto" chapter, or at least the debate part, and has added a lot of new details. LoV stands for most people (myself included) as one of the worst chapters in the history of multiverse. To the point where many dedicated members/mods left the cite and hundreds were upset. It was the pinnacle of everyone bending over backwards and many acting out of character to defend Bra, only to return to the status quo after 4 years that amounted to very little. I was wondering how people thought of the novelization's take on it. Is it improved? Worsened? Does it fix the fundamental flaws in the chapter (assuming you believe there were major flaws) or simply exacerbate them? Please let me know what you think!

I like that more characters got involved. I like that Vegeta stood up for his (alternative) daughter, like he is ashamed that someone who is supposed to be a better version of himself is doing something so despicable. And also seeing Goku and Vegeta actively try to stop them and getting immediately overwhelmed.
The outcome doesnt change, though. It's the same thing with some extra scenes and dialogue thrown in, so i dont have much more to say
I think the biggest problem of them all is Vegetto's character, everyone preferred it when he was too strong to care about anything and was just there to have fun. His "crazy" side didnt go beyond throwing a tantrum for losing cheaply in the tournament, none of this "i wanna kill my daughter he is gonna be like broly" bs that overstayed its welcome.
EDIT: Chapter 162 makes the discussion with Vegetto a LOT, and i mean A LOT longer. Some key changes are that the characters slowly convince Vegetto that he has to find a better solution, and that the key part of Bra becoming Majinized was Hatchiyak's screaming (who, by the way, was a far bigger threat in the novel). Not sure what to think of this.
What i can say though, is that I preferred Multiverse when it was this simple plot about characters from all of Dragon Ball in one big tournament, I insist that this Vegetto/Bra drama took up way too much attention. I guess it's to build up Vegetto's eventual rampage but honestly there had to have been other ways to get there.
