Let's talk about everyone's favorite jetpack-wearing race of super soldiers.

I like them, feel they brought something truly unique to the table with their gear. I think they still have a role to play in the tournament since Salagir had them stick around instead of sending them home like every other universe that became irrelevant. Right now Eleim is the only one with any real character to him though, at least in the main tournament, haven't read their 22 chapter novel.

I still don't get how the hell Vargas really found them. After all their own power without suits is probably around Mr Satan level. Their concept is neat but still how...

Argelios I hope it's alright I post it here. Edit: That's not correct anymore. That's the correct version now. Now, that Salagir finally decided on all the names for all eight U19 members we can have some kind of real discussion without calling someone "that blond dude", "the chick", "the buff one". And with Phipsil and Loopwhirl being part of the action right now, we can assume we get some more interactions with other universes and maybe some more insight on universe 19.

I still don't get how the hell Vargas really found them. After all their own power without suits is probably around Mr Satan level. Their concept is neat but still how... I read a quote from Salagir around the special chapter about Kakaroth and Raditz on Helior, that their powerlevel at that age was between 2.000 and 20.000. A bit high imho, but necessary for Feyn to beat them around like she did. And the new generation is much more stronger, as C16 noted that they are "well trained". But that's the special thing: even without being physically strong, their weapons make them so terrible and a danger for much stronger foes. Actually I began to like them because being on the team for the Italian Wiki, I had to write their bios, both present and past (Uni 13 and 19) and i traslated the fanfic about Helior (I hope the new chapters are going to be translated soon!). I think Foenidis did a great job in creating them, as a counterpart of our Ki-wielding warriors. I would have preferred if they were a bit more different from Earthlings, because they seem really humans. Maybe that's why I colored Xeniloums hair green, but the original haircolour was set as dark brown. Whatever. Am i the only one who is reminded of Star Trek when seeing them? XD

So much info is lacking here in universe 19. Loopwhirl (I hope the image is correct, bc I never bothered to check) seems to be the more competent leader for the Ultra Squad. Even with his 4times less screentime than Eleim. Now, I really want to know more about them. All of them have some specific character traits, so I hope the DBM team decided to explain how they become like this in some other special or maybe a second part (timeskip, etc.) in the fanfiction. I understand that the Heloites weren't planned like this from the start, but DBM had enough time to come up with an (not bs) explanation why just 3 out of 8 elite soldiers participate in an tournament to safe their planet.

Fan comic based on U13. This is the infamous "special" where Kakarotto is actually depicted as a explicit rapist. This is not the official history. Nappa and Vegeta were not even there until the very last pages, after Kakarotto and Raditz had already crapped the entire planet. There are many more earlier pages in the fan art section. Some that go as far as back as 2013 or beyond. Solus

I still don't get how the hell Vargas really found them. After all their own power without suits is probably around Mr Satan level. Their concept is neat but still how... Even without suits they are genetically enhanced, nanobot imbued super soldiers. Think Master Chief/Captain America +. So they have super vitality and can do things like crack stone and tank earth bullets. Frieza's footsoldiers seem similar but simpler, he probably just uses Space Steroids to enhance his Soldiers and they are around 1k in level. The early Helior soldiers are probably physically weaker then Frieza's soldiers but much more advanced, as they have things like nanohealing factors. So I would say they are comparable to Dragonball level fighters at their basic level, with the Advanced Elites comparable to Veggy and Crew with Super tech able to harm Oozaru/Early Form Frieza.

Nedwook? What is happening. Didn't Salagir himself explained in a comment all the U19 members name? (page 1346) According to Salagir's comment the guy with black hair on this panel is Nedwook. But ... ehm ... he dies. Is the U19 member's name in today's page (1402) an error? Is Salagir trolling us? Does he not care? I mean if he doesn't care about the original character's names why should I care. This sounds trivial for characters having merely as much screentime as Nail from universe 10 (at this point). But I enjoy this comic because it is mostly very well done and those little things spoil the whole fun for me. I already see the surviving Heloite guy killing Kakarot as Loopwhirl, Sigh.

Nedwook is the one who survived. In the second and third images he is the Heliote to the rightmost. Loopwhirl is between Phipsil and Needwok he just wasn't visible in that panel due to perspective. The back of Loopwhirl's hair is too wavy and long at the top to resemble Vegeta's whereas Nedwook's almost perfectly matches his from behind.

I'm not so sure. Nedwook & Loopwhirl look the most alike. A really poor decision from Salagir to give an explanation about U19 members on a page without having Loopwhirl & Nedwook in the same panel. Gogeta Your explanation is plausible, of course. Probably, it's correct. it just confuses me all the time with U19. Remember the times when the black hair dude dying by the laser was Naurb but then he is killed by actual Naurb. All the changes on U19 are giving me a headache.

I just stumbled on a comment made by bk-81. On page 74, in the German Mini-Comic comment section she mentioned some stuff about the Heloîtes back in 2016. I thought it might be benefitial to collect all information revolving the Heloîtes in here.
I translated it:

The Theme Naming for the Heloïtes is seperated in two categories.
Once, The first generation of Ultras are named after physicists or from the field of physics (explained in my previous comment above). Second, The current generation of Ultras, their names are anagrams about different brands of electrical appliances (some are maybe unknown because they are French brands):
Eleim - Miele Xeniloum - Moulinex Tidar - Radit Naurb - Braun Loopwhirl - Whirlpool Nedwook - Kenwood Magsuns - Samsung Phipsil - Philips

Needs rounder eyes to look like Seiya.
Actually Loopwhirl could have been the strongest fighter and destined to win the tournament, considering Seiya was able to survive a million lightspeed punches from Eolia, toyed with by Shaka, poisonous roses from Aphrodite, being turned into living corpse by Saga... Not even Goku has such survival rate.

They have been pretty cool since this revolt started. I think they worked better in this situation then they did in the tournament. I know original fan characters aren’t everyone’s cup of tea and they ruin a story if they are done badly, but U19 found its groove now. I wish these characters had a better start when the comic started because I can see a lot of potential good interactions with universes that ruled by Freeza or the Saiyans. Given the groups history with the Trade Planet Organization I could see them being wary of U8 and U13 especially.
