Reason for Angels' indifference/amorality

Anyone have any theories here? Clearly the majority of them (pretty much all of them) have no regard at all for life, U9's Angel was actually smiling when his universe got erased.
These are my guesses by the way:
-Desensitized to it: They train Gods of Destruction and watch them destroy planets/people all the time, plus they are likely ageless (that's just a guess though) and have seen so many people erased that they're used to it.
-Justified: They may see life and death as a unified cycle rather than separate events, since life must perish to make room for new life they could see it as necessary and integrated into existence.
-Lacking perspective: They may be so detached from mortal life/lacking of a mortal's perspective of life that they don't really understand what a mortal feels when facing erasure/destruction. They may simply dismiss it as childish fear of the unknown (since they've never been mortal they can't see how serious an end of life would be to one), possibly part of the reason most are so easygoing and carefree. Sort of like the reason Buu didn't mind murdering people until he realized that they were being harmed and could feel the pain he was inflicting.
-Superiority complex: It's possible that they're so far above mortals that they simply don't see them as beings with a high enough level of sentience/consciousness to matter. To them a mortal could be as alive as a plant or insect, but since they're not on their level of consciousness (as far as they know) they don't see them as conscious/sentient at all.
-Hate jobs: I'm half-joking but it could be they hate their jobs due to boredom, I mean all they do is watch their God of Destruction destroy planets/species/people, look after their needs, and keep them in check. They could be too bored to care about life, I mean most of them play a lot of pranks and are fascinated by little stuff. Granted this doesn't make that much sense because if their universe is destroyed they'll have even less to do.
What do you guys think?
