I mean seriously. The most powerful being in the universe is a spoiled cat who destroys planets out of boredom, and as if that weren't bad enough, there's a boatload of powerful assholes trying to take over or destroy the Earth at least every few years. I can't even bother to count the number of times humanity has been wiped out in DBZ/DBS anymore...

Can wish for Saiyans to veer into sun or asteroid field. Doesn't. Creates powerful technique that can't be controlled but cuts anything it touches. Doesn't use often. Can attack enemies while they power-up. Sits there and lets enemies power-up. Can use Dragon Balls to wish for Ultimate Feast to feed the Purple Cat. Makes Shenron Crap his Magic Pants. Doesn't use Dragon Balls for anything other than resurrection. Most of the issues just stem from the way the Anime and Manga had their events played out... How could I forget. That fight alone, if there wasn't a senzu bean given, they might have been able to take out Cell. Would we do the same as Goku? Fuck no. Would we stand there like Krillin and the others and ask "What the Hell Goku, did you suffer another brain injury?" HELL YEAH!

I'm just saying if you lived in the DBZ universe you'd have lived through a green dude trying to take over the world, a human size bug threatening to blow up the planet, and a pink piece of sentient chewing gum turning you into candy and eating you. And that's not even counting the events in Super, or the steady stream of near-misses when humanity was almost wiped out and never even knew it.

The only way I would ever choose to live in the Dragon Ball series in any of the 12 Universes is if I were to be someone that could train and live a normal life while still able to keep up with Goku and Vegeta similar to how we all wish Gohan did. Although since we’re sticking to Universe 7...
-I’d straight up deck Goku in his face for giving Cell a senzu bean. Then join Piccolo in berating him for leaving Gohan to fight Cell alone.
-Then I’d yell at Goku for his bullshit excuse for staying dead. Even if he were dead what would stop enemies from going after his family to horribly torture and kill them?
-I’d call out Vegeta for going evil again. How pathetic it was that he couldn’t get over ‘muh pride’ and then probably be killed by him. Be worth it though.
-Then I’d probably be destroyed by Beerus, because I can’t stand his food porn obsession and destroying planets for no reason is a terrible excuse. Not to mention him using the ‘god of destruction’ title doesn’t excuse him from killing whole populations of people when it’s been shown in the series that killing people for no reason is wrong and you’d be sentenced to Hell.
-If I somehow survived meeting Beerus, I’d again berate Goku for agreeing to switching Earth to Universe 6 as we wouldn’t know how that would affect the planet or its people all just to fight ‘strong guys’
-Zamasu arc? I’d point out the hypocrisy of Beerus and Whis in how they won’t lift a finger to help yet they decide to drop Future Trunks and Mai in another timeline and Whis warns that version of Beerus and Whis of what Zamasu will pull.
-TOP? I’d fight my hardest to stay till the last then wish all the erased Universes back. Either way I’d tell Goku if he tries to pull a stunt like reminding Zeno of erasing the Universes again (even if it was by proxy) I’d find a way to erase him from existence as his lust for battle went to far and putting all of the Universes in jeopardy to fight ‘strong guys’ makes him look more apathetic to people as a whole than Frieza. I’m honestly getting to the point where I despise anime Goku and only tolerate his manga counterpart.

It depends. Personally if I lived there I'd train my ass off and do everything I could to become stronger, at Goku/Vegeta tier (wish for immortality, convert myself into an Android, learn Kaioken and all other OP techniques, get potential unlocked).
The world is what you make of it. That's as true in the DB universe as it is in this one.

Nah but legit question I think we forgot here... Did we all start as a human... or did we get to choose our natural born race? (I say natural bc Cyborg Android mods and such)

Pff, Dragon Ball is a paradise compared to Berserk, Dante's Inferno, or being a normal human being in Marvel. At least in Dragon Ball you have multiple options in growing in power, not including the dragon balls.

True, however, unless we get to be with the main cast, we would have no idea about the existence of the Dragon Balls or how to get stronger. Although I’m not sure if I’d ever want to live in the DC or Marvel Earth. Alien invasions, super villains everywhere, Strange cosmic events every couple of years? I’m comfortable in reality.

I would love to live in the Dragonball world. Even as a mere human. I was always a huge Jurassic Park fan, and in Dragonball there are still dinosaurs. Awesome. I love the part how nobody in Dragonball give a damn that there still live dinosaurs. I would be the most famous archaeologist / paleontologist / zoologist And in case it will be too dangerous around some dinosaurs I get my capsules from Capsule Corp. and get to safety with my hovering / flying car. Furthermore, I could take part in the annual festival where a Godzilla-like creature is summoned and the sky darkens. I like the variety of humanoids in Dragonball Too bad, they disappeared after Mr Satan was introduced. I would use the Dragonballs to prevent this. Without them Dragonball lost much of its "Fantasy" feeling and turned more and more into Sci-Fi. I wonder if in Dragonball there was a race war. And about all the monsters and villains threatening earth. I mean what should I do. I'm no farmer with shotgun. I would put on my jam "Don't worry, be happy". I can rely on our heroes. They always win in the end. Death sure seems bothering, but at least not for long. The TFS pink rain of death would be a quick death. Hopefully I don't draw the short straw and end up like the prostitutes against Android 20 & 19.

Otherwise he’d have known about Beerus and Champa’s tournament and why they hosted it. Not to mention he had a future counterpart he had no idea about or interact with. Still I’d tell Zeno he’s the most incompetent deity out of the whole lot. Hell at least Shin tried to do his job while hunting down Babidi. I don’t even blame him for Universe 7 being so shitty since his training was never completed and his god of destruction is the most unpredictable of them all.

Read: Anime Zeno is a child, Manga Zeno is just super straight forward especially dissing his own servants Beerus and Champa. And that Goku is still hated somehow.

Not knowing something =/= Not Omnipotent. Now omniscience, that's a whole different story. Typically the two are paired together when talking about divine beings in a classic sense, but they don't need to be. Zen-Oh most assuredly isn't omniscient, while so far nothing has contradicted him being omnipotent. EDIT: By omnipotent I'm talking strictly in the "power" sense. Zen-Oh is power. He isn't knowledge.

We don’t even know if he’s the one that creates Universes as Universes 13-18 were never revived after their destruction or a brand new set of 13-18 were made. If he were omnipotent in terms of power he’d have more abilities than destroying Universes. Based on what we’ve been shown he’s just a low level reality destroyer since he can’t erase anything beyond the timeline of the 18 Universes he resides in. Otherwise in the anime his future self would have erased present Universe 7 as cloud Zamasu was starting to pollute it.

Zen-Oh instantly created a button out of nowhere that allowed Goku to travel to him or for himself to be summoned to wherever the button was, no matter the universe. It even applies to versions of Zen-Oh that didn't create the button and have never met Goku! A multidimensional travel remote capable of summoning the Omni King! So either Zen-Oh understands the complex quantum and temporal mechanics involved with instant teleportation across a multiverse involving future selves as well...or the more likely option given his childish nature ( and the fact that Toriyama is writing this, if we're honest) is that he can just do it because he's Zen-Oh. For all we know Zen-Oh can indeed create universes--but given that he thinks the current number is also too high this may not be a side we end up seeing if his goal is to reduce and not boost the numbers. As for Zamasu, I don't see the problem. He wanted to erase Zamasu and he did. He erased him despite not even knowing about his incursion into the past and despite the fact that the Super DBs explicitly gave him immortality. Why didn't the past timeline also get erased? Probably because he didn't know about it. It's the whole omnipotent-not-omniscient thing. I think it's best to wait and see if in true DB tradition someone stronger comes along or not, or if for the first time in DB history the ultimate god stays as the ultimate god.

I think it's best to wait and see if in true DB tradition someone stronger comes along or not, or if for the first time in DB history the ultimate god stays as the ultimate god. I've always thought of omnipotence as being part of a triangular relationship. There's omnipotence, omniscience, and omnipresence, and they're all linked because if you possess one, you're technically already capable of the other two. Omniscience means you know everything, which would logically include how to do anything and how to be anywhere/everywhere at once, thus you're also omnipotent and omnipresent. Omnipresence means you're capable of travelling anywhere/being anywhere at any time and/or all times, meaning you can learn everything about the universe and all of it's secrets, which would allow you to learn how to do anything, so you're also omniscient and omnipotent. Omnipotence means you're capable of anything, including giving yourself omniscience and omnipresence. So technically, Zeno probably isn't omnipotent, otherwise if he was curious about something he could instantly learn it, and if he was bored and wanted to watch a fight, he could give himself omnipresence and instantly watch any fight he wanted to. This could be attributed to the fact that even for an all-powerful ruling deity he's not that bright, and it simply doesn't occur to him to use the full extent of his abilities. I doubt there'll ever be total clarity on this subject established in the anime and/or manga.

I doubt there'll be any clarity at all on the subject, unless Toriyama's next move is to prove how strong the next villain is by having him kill Zen-Oh. This is why I figured just waiting would be the best solution. For now, Zen-Oh is the almighty supreme being of DB (not counting Tori-bot) until Toriyama decides he isn't.

I think the Dragon Ball universe would be a great place to live, personally. There are few fictional universes more appealing! First off, Earth in Dragon Ball is unified under a single government. This means that there are no wars or other nasty events, give or take a Red Ribbon army or two. All the resources that would normally have to be spent on defense or whatever can go to infrastructure or healthcare or million-zeni martial arts tournaments. Also, while there's the occasional bandit or mob or Van Zant to deal with, on the whole people are peaceful and generally good, if a bit complacent. Second, technology is capable of things we can't do on our earth. Capsule technology? Amazing! Flying cars! Really, unless you live waaaay out there in the boonies (like Nam or Uub), living conditions seem extremely high. Third, as iron leaf said, there are DINOSAURS there! Live dinosaurs! And all sorts of anthropomorphic creatures (heck, the leader of the world is a dog!) It would be very interesting to interact with all these people, and there's apparently no speciesism at all. Fourth, this is a world where anyone, literally ANYONE, can learn how to fly, shoot ki blasts, and withstand bullets if they're given the training. Man, I would love to fly. You can even instantly learn how to teleport from place to place! Let's be honest here--I would abuse the crap out of Instant Transmission if I knew it. I wouldn't get out of bed until 5 minutes before work! Fifth, space travel is a reality, and there are planets close enough that you can visit them within a month, populated by friendly aliens. Sixth, there are Dragon Balls that you can wish upon to work miraculous things, like bringing back the dead or restoring your youth. There are also other magical things (like how your guardian is Dende, who can heal people) and senzu beans, which can heal as well. And a Hyperbolic Time Chamber you can use if you're short on time. Seventh, there is a very nice afterlife waiting for you if you're a good person, and you'll at least get a second chance if you're not. While the DB universe has its fair share of villains, I often feel that these sorts of questions don't really take those into account. And I'm also assuming that this would be post-DBZ anyway, where there are no major problems left. And the fact is, there are quite a large number of good guys who could handle 99.99% of the threats that could ever come your way, good guys who have proven time and again that they will sacrifice themselves to save people they don't even know. You could hardly ask for a better protector than Goku, Gohan, and the others. So yeah, I'd totally live in the Dragon Ball universe if I could.
