Well, what would you do to improve dragon ball super? Post if you like super, and especially if you hate it as is.
I'd have god ki not be so tossed aside for 1. mortals should not challenge those with god ki, so instances where goku fights someone, he would purposely restrict his powers and not use god forms. For fun or for a good fight.
Freezas gold form is a god form. Whether you like the 4 months thing, certainly a god ritual would make more sense considering goku just had a god ritual power up himself. That would appease most detractors of freeza powering up and would be a cool mcguffin.
Stop with the majin bullshit. Make buu do cool stuff beside getting beat up and regenerate with hax regeneration and sleep. And stop with the bullshit sleeping. stop it.
Whatever you guys think. I'll post more stuff later.
Lets hear what you guys think.

Limitations of Super Saiyan Blue. Decide on Perfect Ki Control, or Stamina Drawback. I would choose the former since it signals achieving something from the "Rank of the Gods" (done via God Ki, that is if we ignore FPSSJ). But I'll add this twist, if even the slight distraction occurs in the user, the user would decrease in power, less than that of even SSG, or drop out of the Blue form completely. Stamina Drawback is just mimicking USSJ and SSJ3 and utterly mocks the RoF saga (even more than it should have) and the Zamasu arc when fighting Fused Zam.
Something recent, ToP, have less scenes where Goku has to break out of the traps by using Blue and just have him fight either constantly in Base until trapped and he'll use SSJ1 or SSJ2 to escape, OR fight in SSJ1 to make the opponents more realistically strong and trigger SSJ2 or SSJ3 to escape the enemy traps. He'll save SSBlue for the final round against those like Hit as seen in U6 tourney or Dyspo bc of the speed, keep the Swap tactic from God-Blue if it's really necessary and he couldn't simply do what Hit did in the anime, and Ultra Instinct form at THE END, not spamming it twice against Jiren and Kefla. Seriously, why have him use it again against Kefla, say he's out of stam, and then suddenly use Blue to escape the Black hole?

The first change I would make would be to set Super after DBZ. This way the writers aren't confined to trying to keep a midquel and not have to worry about retconning the original ending to have to try to fit Super into it. It also allows for newer characters introduced at the end of Z to get another chance to join the cast since they are discounting GT. Pan, Uub, and Bra could easily be worked into the plot, since they are very important to Goku and Vegeta and could provide both serious and comedic plots. The second change I would make is how god ki and the Saiyan exclusive god forms were presented. SSG and SSGSS/SSB wouldn't be new transformations only Saiyans can use. Instead Goku and Vegeta learning to harness god ki like everyone else. It still increases their power, but doesn't add even more exclusive Saiyan transformations. God ki could buff out base and SS forms, so SS2 and SS3 would stay relevant and not be replaced, just used in conjunction with god ki. Red and blue coloration of the god forms would be retooled to being a sign of imperfect or unbalanced god ki control. It serves as evidence of Goku and Vegeta's progress. As they get stronger and get better at controlling god ki they start losing the red/blue coloring and get more of their black/gold hair color back.
Edit: I changed my mind. The concept of Freeza coming back at all should have been cut out. Even the Cooler equivalent I suggested doesn't need to happen. That was a alright concept for a movie, but making it an actual for Dragon Ball Super series is wrong. Freeza is a fan favorite, but he really wasn't needed. Trying to spend time trying to figure out how to improve that idea rather than ditching it was a mistake on my part.

Well, to me the best way to improve Super would be to go back to the very beginning of Dragon Ball and rewrite it, streamlining the story, eliminating most the PL nonsense, putting in better foreshadowing, spreading the spotlight around, stuff like that. But if I had to give some suggestions for just DBS itself... -- Stop having characters "drop their guard" -- Super takes place after EoZ, allowing MUCH more freedom in storyline. -- Rework god ki. It doesn't make you stronger, but it does make you immune to regular ki. This keeps the powerscaling lower and makes it more strategic than just another straightforward powerup -- Make god ki a temporary powerup, or else make it so that there are multiple ways to get it. Make it so humans could possibly get it, too. -- Explain that GoDs have specific powers unique to their position, not just "really strong people." -- BoG could possibly take place immediately before EoZ: Goku loses to Beerus but thinks Uub would be able to beat him, which is why he decides to train Uub. -- Don't bring Frieza back. Or if you do, make his newfound power a result of his follower's belief in him, not as a result of BS training. Or just ignore RoF entirely and move on to something more interesting. -- Have Frost actually be a good guy. GOSH making him evil was a stupid decision. -- Stop writing Buu out of the story. -- Have U7 lose the tournament to U6 so they could have new adventures in a different universe. Give the Saiyans and Nameks a chance to meet their counterparts. -- Not have the Black saga in the future. There is a lot more tension if there's people left to kill, and people you actually care about could be hurt. -- Use Gogeta against Fused Zamasu, not Vegito. -- Stop having characters "drop their guard" -- Don't beat Zamasu with a Zeno button. Don't even have a Zeno button. -- Show the ToP entirely from another universe's perspective. Say, U11. Have them be the main characters of the ToP saga, not U7. OR... -- Make Goku and Vegeta not available for the ToP. How much more tense would it be if U7's two best fighters couldn't participate? It would better justify such drastic actions as going to Frieza and asking him for help. Gohan would have to step up as team leader. Goten and Trunks, too. -- Actually portray the ToP as the high-stakes affair that it is. All contestants that pose, shout morals, or talk about love should be eliminated immediately. -- Show universes fighting each other without the POV universe being involved. -- Instead of Future Trunks fighting a Goku Black, how about a Gohan Black? That'd be a pretty interesting arc! -- Either make Zamasu pure evil or else give him more understandable motivations, as well as lines he won't cross. Like killing Gowasu. -- Have the Zamasu arc take place after the ToP, since it's the perfect example of why mortals are dangerous (because Goku could be blamed for starting the tournament). Also, have Zamasu actually take over the strongest mortal body, not Goku's. -- Include Beerus hakai'ing Zamasu in the episode intro animation -- Stop having characters "drop their guard" I think many of GT's ideas would work pretty well in Super's expanded setting, too. I had an idea about combining Black with Baby back in the " Super and GT Revisited" thread...

Firstly, have it take place AFTER DBZ. There's even less narrative tension than usual in these DB stories since we know everything's gonna be alright later on down the road thanks to Goku not meeting Uub yet. If they aren't going to follow the ending and just retcon it they need to just hurry up and do that already.
Secondly, the moment where Beerus and Goku were about to destroy the universe needs to never happen. That is such a ridiculous jump that its absurd. It clearly wasn't in the original vision since the movie had no such moment whatsoever. I'm half-tempted to say the universe busting shockwaves were a direct response to that one DeathBattle where Superman defeated Goku given the timing, but surely it can't have been that petty. Surely not. Given that this appeared in the manga before the anime (since that was in the early days when the manga was ahead) and knowing what we know now about the creative inputs that go into DBS, I'm really tempted to say this came from Toyotaro and that the original Toriyama version of the story was more akin to the movie.
But anyway, get rid of this moment. It makes no sense. Especially when you have an omnicidal maniac like Zamasu who is stronger than the SSG Goku who was contributing to these universe destroying shockwaves. Really Zamasu could've just punched his hands together and made universal shockwaves to enact his Zero Mortals Plan or something towards the end of the arc. Instead its a throwaway moment that just never gets addressed again. You can't have "Goku's punches with Beerus are about to destroy the universe!" then just IGNORE that and pretend it didn't happen ever again with later arcs down the line! If you're going to go TTGL, go FULL out with the TTGL. Anything less is a disappointment.
Thirdly, stop rushing everything. We've just introduced the concept of all these different universes, each with their own history and characters and oh wait now we're just blowing our load and having Goku fight all their strongest people all at once in a big tournament. Having all these universes could've ensured that DB would've had material to draw from and stories to make FOR YEARS TO COME. Nope, turns out they're all mostly pathetic and good ol' Goku is just giving them what for barring a couple of characters here and there. It baffles me that aside from a couple of characters like Jiren or Hit that U7 as a whole just massively outclasses the competition by a large margin. Instead of a close battle royale where we can develop characters later based on interesting fights going on throughout its just U7 curbstomping everyone mostly with ease one by one. You know what would've made Back Tingles less bad? Not having them because you're rushing to make some other Saiyans halfway competitive with Goku. Why'd they have to be competitive with Goku? What's wrong with Tien fighting a Saiyan in a serious fight? He hasn't done that since Nappa. Maybe have Frieza train in hell for a decade as opposed to four months beating up a Zarbon-level guy. Or maybe just have the U6 Saiyans ALREADY BE SUPER SAIYANS instead of them never discovering it.
I don't have much hope for the manga in the regard of the universes either since the Trio de Dangers aren't even mentioned in the pre-game fights and the manga's pre-game Battle Royale ended up being all the GoDs going "Hey, let's gank Beerus cuz we hate him" and then had some minor FFA towards the end before going back to Beerus being one of the last ones standing or at the very least had more focus on, I honestly can't remember how it all went down at the moment. It's like a spoiler preview for the entire ToP, with Beerus playing the role of Goku--Beerus even briefly uses Ultra Instinct! So while the manga has developed the GoDs more than the anime, so far the anime is doing better with unique characters like the Trio de Dangers. It's just such a weird mismatch. In a perfect (Cell) world we could have both.
Fourthly, and this kind of goes in line with no universe-busting punches and not rushing things and power scaling--if you're going to have an arc where you want to have the lesser characters contribute to something...just make it a traditional tournament arc. I know this format has its naysayers for being overdone and predictable, but I don't see how its really any different from the current story we have now, really, where U7 has their opponents mostly just line up one by one to get knocked out. A traditional tournament arc, Dark Tournament style, would allow the lesser fighters to get creative while also not having the narrative anchor that is Jiren just standing around not eliminating potential threats to himself. Unless that threat is named Hit, because Jiren hates that guy apparently but Goku he's cool with not eliminating because Goku has main character plot armor equipped.
A traditional format gets rid of that problem by...wait for it...having Jiren stand around and legally not be allowed to do anything until his turn in the ring. The only difference between this and what Jiren is doing now is that the only thing stopping Jiren from winning the entire tournament RIGHT NOW is Jiren himself. If they felt a traditional tournament is "too soon" after the other tournament, even though we had a whole arc since then, more than one arc if we're looking at the anime, then they shouldn't have had a tournament at all and had Goku meet Jiren under some other pretense like exploring a different Universe altogether.

Super has really hit something with slice of life episodes. Those are the best episodes for the most part. I was watching the dub episode of Goku, Chi-chi, and Piccolo watching baby Pan while Gohan and Videl went to his job interview and I loved it. There were a lot of great moments. It had cute Goku and Chi-chi moments as a couple, Piccolo has a dotting semi-grandparent, Goku acting grandfatherly, and even great family moments that the original manga never really did as much. A way to improve Super is to put more emphasis on relationships and character interactions and make them vital to the plot.
I'm just going to say it, but if they are using a multiverse I wish they had done the traditional one used in fiction like DBM decided to do. I already know people are going to say it is cliche and the current multiverse in Super isn't just rehashing older characters and some of the newer characters like Hit or Cabba need to be kept, but I honestly think a more many worlds multiverse has more potential here. Universe 6 as it is could still exist within that the many worlds multiverse theory. The original Saiyan home world never being destroyed is a scenario would be one of the many possibilities within that multiverse. Newer characters like Hit, the U6 Saiyans, and Frost could still exist there. At least with the many worlds it provides a way for older villains to come back in a more natural way along with introducing more new characters and worlds.
Expanding the universe the way GT did would have been an improvement over shrinking it as Super did. That way it can introduce more species and fighters with different techniques. Make both the universe and multiverse more vast, so there is more to explore there and keep the series going and growing.

I say keep the universe destroying feat, yet make SSGod THE form of pure God Ki. The only limit it has is it's time limit, then make SSBlue a subform, where it's alot stronger then all the other regular SS forms, yet it only works by mixing 'Regular' Ki with God Ki. HAve Goku or someone explain that without the ritual they can't hold that much God ki without destroying themselves so they spend their time gradually increasing their power and control. Use some new techniques instead of just powerups. Spend more time showing what the other universes are like, their cultures, old enemies the main guys have overcome, their powers and abilites. Also- Save Vegito for something truly terrible, instead of wanking fan nostalgia by adding him into the Zamasu arc. Cancel the Zamasu arc, or at least make it make sense/have logic. Expand their universe before meeting the others. I feel that the U6 V U7 tournament arc could have waited alot longer down the line, let alone the current universal survival arc. Axalon makes alot of sense where they've rushed this so much, and also made it almost unbearably Goku-Centric And for the love of Jebus, some actual consistency and links to DBZ and actual explanations how the new forms/abilites work would be amazing.

beers arc
1st-art style more consistent.
2-less garbage filler.
3-keep all the lore exposited in the movie and extended cut and expand on it, using the filler for that reason.
4-base the anime off of the manga. Expand on that.
5-consistent pace more in line with dbkai or even dbz. 6-whatever else you want.

Short answer: Better writing and Animation.
Long answer: Really the only Ideas I have to improve on it is with it’ms story so I’ll guess I’ll go by it arc to arc, adding or changing things as I see fit.
Battle of Gods. -Retelling the new movies shouldn’t of been a thing period. But other than that, the story of the arc was fine
-Most I could say to improve on it was removing that universe destruction
-Give Beerus a firm placement when it comes to power, during the fight, Like 50 percent, so we don’t have to keep questioning if characters are Beerus tier all the time.
RoF arc
-Let this be after the end of Z so their can be a tiny amount of tension. -Have Frieza’s training be longer, anywhere from EoZ to the current time, to like 2 years so the jump isn’t as asspully.
-No SSB, just let Goku and Vegeta be able to transform into SSG at will, if the design has to be there than make it Vegeta’s SSG and explain that it's color is based on the individual’s soul. (Also explains Rose nicely enough to).
-Speaking of which, explain how Vegeta got God Ki!
-Have Gohan (weakened, but still able to go SSJ2 easily) and Ubb team up to fight Frieza, preferably in his 2nd or 3rd form, so they can due something meaininful before Goku and Vegeta arrive.
-Make Frieza’s ultimate transformation a composit of Cooler’s form and his Golden one. Therefore, it’ll keep its intended irony, while actually being visually distinct.
-if the off guard scene is gonna be there, make it so that Sorbet’s lazer is fulled by some of Frieza’s ki, so it’ll be more believable.
-Give Vegeta his win, poor guy deserves one every once in a while.
U6 Saga
-Replace Buu with Ubb
-Have Ubb lose to Botamo with the explanation of him not knowing how to properly deal with him due to inexperience, immedeatly followed by Goku dragging Botamo off the ring like in canon.
-Make Frost heroic, and explain that the reason he used the poison needle is due to the concept of having Champa working with his group to good of an offer to pass up, even if he had to throw away his honor to do it.
-Let Piccolo fight Magetta, and have them get a double K.O on each other.
-When Vegeta is showing off to Cabba have him transform into SSJ2 and explain to Cabba how he can get God Ki.
-Still have Goku use Kaioken, but make the multiplication smaller, like 3 or 5.
Future Trunks arc:
-Explain that Trunks mastered SSJ2 like Goku mastered SSJ, allowing him to be only a bit weaker than SSJ3
-Turn Zamasu’s motive from “fuck the mortals” to trying to wipe the slate clean for the worse universes, so that life can properly begin anew for them, with him, and his alternate counterparts, taking care of it.
-Explain him stealing Goku’s body as a). Partly resentment for Goku beating him and b) the other candidates either relied off of mostly skill (Hit), worthy enough to live in his eyes (Pride Troopers), or gave him a crippling weak point (all the GoDs)
-Give Trunks SS Rage, just explain it as basically it being Super Sayain Demigod due to his training with Vegeta, and the constant God Ki he’s been exposed to.
-They can keep the Zeno button, but put more emphasis on the fact that he’ll either fix all their problems, or wipe out the Multiverse
-Have Merged Zamasu’s weakness be the half immortality thing.
-Use Gogeta instead of Vegito (if he has to be their with the time limit, at least put up an explanation on why the elder kai didn’t know about it, like Gowasu explaining that it’s very rare for supreme Kai to give the Potara to mortals, or something like that)
- Have Gogeta and Merged Zamasu have a mostly even fight, until Gogeta starts using Kaioken, in which case Zamasu only barely outlasts Gogeta due to their Big Bang Kamehameha, missing the arm with the time ring on it.
-Have Trunks pull his Spirit sword, but start it with Trunks cutting off Zamasu’s time ring. Sending Merged Zamasu into complete agony and have Goku notice that the people hoping for Trunks’s victory is similar to what happened with Buu so he makes a spirit bomb that he tells Trunks to charge him self up with, so he can eradicate Zamasu’s body. . -Instead of Infinite Zamasu, just have future Zamasu recreate himself from the ashes, and decide to destroy the planet in anger of Goku Black dying, and the fusion failing. Causing Goku to resort to the Zeno button.
-When Zeno actually appears, have him erase Zamasu, and let him get lectured on what’s happening with the plot, ending with him deciding to destroy the weaker universes, only stopping when Goku offers to fix most of the damage Zamasu did with a combination of the Namekian Dragon Balls and the Super Dragon Balls of the main timeline, with Trunks asking to replace Beerus as the GoD of U7.
-When most of the damage is fixed, have a reunion between Future Bulma and Goku and Vegeta
Overall that’s all I have. I’ll wait until the Universal Surival arc is over before I’ll type out ways it could be better in my eyes.

Dragon Ball Super has already improved a lot over the last 100 episodes, so I'm honestly not one to complain.
I think my main point of issue would be that they're really still dragging their feet on pulling certain characters up to par. Piccolo really should be brought into the fold of the stronger fighters. Gohan is a low level god character, which is fine, but Gohan, Piccolo, Vegeta, and Goku should all really be sitting near the top. It gives you more options. It lets you feel more connection to the characters. It gives more opportunities for cool fights and bravado. It also let's these characters really display something special.
Vegeta vs. Goku.
Piccolo vs. 2nd Form Frieza.
Goku vs. Frieza
Vegeta vs. 19
Piccolo vs. 20
Vegeta & Co vs. 17. and 18.
Piccolo vs. Cell
Piccolo vs. 17
Goku vs. Cell.
-
These fights in this order felt right, they felt the best, because you entered them wondering "wow, whose going to win. Whose going to come out on top?" you *felt* how strong Piccolo was versus Frieza, in how the fight was animated and the credibility the other characters leant to Piccolo.
Piccolo vs. Frost didn't have the same credibility. You just don't feel it. It was a bit better in the universe survival arc, but it's a persistent problem with the show, and has been since the Kid BUU Saga. It's not just a Super problem, it's a Dragon Ball Z / GT problem too.

Gohan is a low level god character, which is fine, but Gohan, Piccolo, Vegeta, and Goku should all really be sitting near the top. It gives you more options. This is why Cell Games might be my favorite era of DBZ, since it had a relatively large number of viable characters all sitting around the same tier--the four Saiyans and Piccolo. Yeah, in the films Goku was still presented as the strongest, but having not two, not three, but five characters all at a similar level of strength was awesome and never happened before in DBZ (or ever again in the franchise.) Not to mention that with Gohan having SS2 in the back pocket, it was the only era where Goku was healthy, present, and not the strongest of the good guys. On the whole it allowed for a ton more creativity in fights and stuff. This potential wasn't realized, but at least it was there.

Still a little upset at that one episode where Goku's trying to FINALLY resurrect King Kai and half of the cast are being jerks about it and saying their issues like #18 wanting more money are more important.I remember that discussion. With an episode like that it is easy to make these more enjoyable. In the discussion thread I said instead of having everyone fight for the wish that they should have treated it as fun the little bonding adventure. Goku, Bulma, Krillin, Oolong, Yamecha, and Pura going on an adventure again like old times and taking Goten, Trunks, and Maron with them. It services as nostalgia by having them go on a nice slow adventure for the Dragon Balls like the old days, but by adding the kids to the dynamic it changes things enough. It allows parent and child bonding, but also allows characters like Maron and Goten to interact with each other for the first time ever, which alters Goku and Krillin dynamic just a bit differently here. Meanwhile you have everyone else preparing a party or get together for when the group comes back. You can have the spouses, Chi-chi, Vegeta, and 18 interact with each other, which is an odd group, and discussing how they sometimes don't get their spouses and feel like the odd ones out sometimes when they all have get togethers and maybe find something to bond over. As long as you can introduce new elements to the table even little things like King Kai's resurrection can lead to character development, play on nostalgia, and add something new into the mix. I would love to see how Trunks and Goten would get along with Maron considering their parents are best friends and they are forced to spend a lot of time together given how frequently the gang get together nowadays. By the end of the episode or episodes they use the Dragon Balls to wish back King Kai to life. It is just a fun little adventure.

To continue this sentiment keep RoF purely as a movie and not fitting into the actual series like past movies the second arc of Super should be U6 Tournament arc. That is the arc that introduces the concept of multiverse to the characters and brings back tournaments that popularized DB. There doesn't need to be stakes in this arc. People are fine with fun and no stakes arcs if they prove entertaining, provide character development, or set up future events. The trading Earths bit was never needed IMO. Beerus and Champa are petty enough to use mortals to represent them in a fighting competition to settle a dispute or prove who is better god. That is fine. Sure not everyone would like it, but it would follow Beerus character. Super Dragon Balls aren't even needed. I wouldn't introduce those items in this arc. Beerus can entice Goku and Vegeta to fight since they want a challenge. Fighters like Uub and Pan who want to improve themselves and win acknowledgement and praise from their teachers it is not like Beerus would be scrambling to fill out his five man team. Goku, Pan, Vegeta, Uub, and Piccolo works as a five man team. With kid Pan there it sets up nostalgia enough by having her compete like her Grandpa Goku and uncle Krillin used to compete in tournaments as kids. The tournament would be a good way to start developing Pan and Uub's characters. It is also a way to reestablish Piccolo as a fighter for future arcs. Universe 6 works the way it was for the most part. If I were to make any changes they would be minor ones like Cabba and Frost. Frost being a good guy works. Have him be one of the leaders of a peace and democratic version of the Planet Trade Organization with Saiyans being part of the police force still. Cabba I would make a Super Saiyan 1 at the start. Hit goes from SSGSS level opponent though to a SS3 level opponent. It is a loss in power, but considering Goku and Vegeta haven't mastered god ki yet and his ability is powerful that he would still have everything that made folks love him. Either team could win, but the important part would be to provide new rivals and character development that will setup future developments and people will enjoy it.

freeza arc
1-skip this arc entirely
1-ok for real just change just about everything.
2-change the 4 months of training to a god ritual. If goku can get a god ritual, so can freeza.
3-why not make it a different arcosian? freezas successor. Not a bad guy at all, just wants to resore the honor of his race and is on gold freezas level. hijinx ensue.
4-if it must be freeza being revived, why not have champa and vados bring him back? As a bet between him and beerus, he trains freeza to golden and thats his god form. The fight is a warm up to the u6 tournament.
5-make freeza an underling of champa, and that aspect is expanded on. king kold is brought back too, and that is freezas sparring partner.
6-freeza and kold beat goku with a distraction, and freeza is the one who shoots goku when his guard is down, not that stupid ray gun excuse. a god laser should bring down ssjb goku.
7- vegeta takes down both freeza and kold, winning the tag team match but not without great duress and a sneak attack of his own. Cheating is implied on both ends. This sets up the u6 tournament. Freeza and kold are returned to u7, but are sealed away/frozen/killed/whatever. They are too evil to be left to their own devices.
u6 arc
1-frost is a legit good guy. No twist. He WAS a bad guy who saw the light and works as a force for good. He does cheat though, for the sake of the children, he is ashamed of his poor decision. He is found out and forfits in shame. Vegeta won't let him, and they fight for real to gauge his motives. Vegeta stalls for time, while he gets a sense of frosts character and motives through battle. Vegeta wins, but requests champa follow through and aid frost whether they win or lose, for the good of his universe, champa is reluctant, but decides to give it some thought and will take vegetas request into consideration.
2-buu is not DQ'd, or at least is given another test after piccolo reluctantly tutors him, and his 2nd test is verbal and not written. buu barely fails, but is allowed to pass on the condition that he must be permitted in, but if he does kill anyone his whole team is DQ'd. vegeta sweats nervously, as buu isn't very smart or good at many things. Satan tells buu to not quite do his best and feel his opponents strength, like he did at all those martial arts tournaments where killing is not allowed. Goku teaches buu about ki detection briefly, as he is a prodigy in amny ways and buu feels confident he won't kill anyone, and understands it's like the game he plays with satan, where he can't beat them up too bad.
3-buu buu does well vs the potamo and uses his overconfidence to lure him into a candy beam. He couldn't be beaten with damage, but he can't avoid magic powers. He picks up the candy bar, everyone gets nervous, beerus calls him a damned idiot because buu licks his lips as though he were to eat him, but remembers and chucks him out of the ring. Buu wins his first match.
4- buu loses to magetta because of a technicality in the rules. Buu cant use his candy beam, as he's immune due to the metal he's made of. He can't damage him, and gets angry. He then wraps magetta in his body, grows huge and throws magetta out of the ring, but buu loses, not magetta. Buu's body was wrapped around magetta, and buus body technically hit the outside floor. Buu is confused, but its explained to him by satan he used his own body to bind magetta, and therefore he lost, but not to worry, he did well and that technique worked well, and could be used outside of tournaments. satan gives buu candy as a reward for winning the other match, and buu calms himself.
5-The rules are established before hand that no god forms are permitted. Only mortal ki is permitted. as such goku and vegeta are restricted to their ssj forms and kaioken, but no ssjg and no ssjb. This is a tournament to see which universe has the strongest mortals, not the best of the gods, but goku is confident he can win any way.
6-goku suggests hit should be allowed to use his killing attacks, and goku be permitted to use god ki forms, as neither can go all out. "It's not a tournament if everyone is holding back! " says goku as he appeals to champa. Beers and champa argue back and forth, goku still rings himself out and says the same thing before about not being anyones pawn.
7-u6 saiyans are all mostly ssj. No back tingly bull shit and s cells are exposited on.

Eliminate God KI altogether. It makes no sense at all. Just make SSJGOD and SSJBLUE SSJ4 and SSJ5 respectively.
It makes no sense because people without any God KI have consistently been shown battling so-called "God Saiyans". Freeza, Dyspo, Toppo (anime), Hit, A17, Bergamo, Aniraza, Kefla/Kefura, Kale herself, the short fat blue pride trooper who fought against Goku and Hit etc etc...
Any way of reworking God KI would have to make all those persons "Gods" as well. Let's be real, there is nothing really godly about God KI.

Or if they won't do that, just make god ki immune to regular ki users, and some forms are demi gods, god ki users who are able to fight on even ground with god ki users and have no advantage to normal ki users.
