Cool. This is a universe where Gohan caught the earring and successfully fused with Goku. I didn’t expect the bonus color chapters would give us entirely new universes as well. It is no wonder the Gohan and Goku fuse with the Potara what it was chosen first. It is a what if universe not featured in the comic at all. It result in some pretty big changes. It is likely this could serve as a better version of U16. Gohan/Goku fusion likely has less issues and as a result his family it more well adjusted. They are likely a stronger fusion just based on Gohan being stronger than Vegeta was when Goku fused with him. It is funny how Vegeta just straight up retired from fighting after this. He realizes there is no way he can catch up to Gohan/Goku fusion let alone surpass it.

Honestly, seeing Vegeta in Future Trunks outfit is great enough. But to see him better adjusted to the idea of not behind the strongest and officially give up fighting is fine with this universe’s scenario. I doubt Vegito can get an easy win on Gokhan in a fight much less regular Vegeta. Although him being totally relaxed and playing chess with Bra made me smile. Now I’m picturing him and Piccolo having regular matches with each other while Gokhan is training with his daughter in the background.

Although the implications of Gokhan being with Videl make me pause, as he is half Goku. Like how does the age process work? Do you subtract Gohan’s age from Goku? Will Gokhan live only until the end of Goku’s projected life span, Gohan’s, or somewhere in between? I feel bad for ChiChi. That’s a whole level of therapy I don’t want to think about.

I liked that joke. I hope the fandom doesn't get to upset over it though. I know people would prefer this Universe being used over Universe 16. I can already see people see the memes about this. This scenario just reminds me that DBM has a lot of untapped potential with numerous universes in its multiverse. Even when the DBM story ends there is always potential for DBM team or fans to continue with this concept and telling stories of any universe that diverged from the main DB canon.

I would love for this Universe to interact with Universe 16. Gohan/Goku fusion would be an excellent foil for Vegetto. He acts as a better version of Vegetto. It would be excellent to see how Vegetto is forced to deal with his own faults while simultaneously facing a being who is more powerful than him without magic, so no way for Vegetto to rationalize it doesn't count.

I feel like Gokhan would be more supportive of U18 Goku and Vegeta’s way of trying to get stronger with their own ‘Mystic’ state than Vegito’s explosive power with using the Super Saiyan forms. Him being a calmer foil for Vegito would have been great to see. Like you said Vegito wouldn’t be able to use his “Magic is cheating” excuse with Gokhan. Although I do think he would have his mental breakdown earlier with the stress of how Gokhan’s daughter is fine without Bra’s explosive personality.

I think U4 Buu certainly would have had another character to be cautious of at first when they met. I can’t imagine him eager to take everyone on like he did at the end with his second takeover attempt with a Gokhan there that could use the “Kill Buu” technique without the massive drain of level three. But then he’d probably use his ridiculous magic and just stop everyone.
