   DBZ 1st fight: One chapter is done. Other than the kaioken, nothing else interesting happened. Just punches and kicks. DBZ 2nd fight: "Are you sure?" He killed innocent people only missing his "wife" with few meters! So, yes Goku, he's sure! xD DBM fight: Vegeta is back on the offence after two pages from getting his ass kicked. |

This kinda highlights the difference between a fight being main focus and secondary, the Goku vs. Majin Vegeta Majin fight is near its end while the Saiyan Saga fight is just heating up and the DBM fight is still ramping up.

   And that's it for the Goku & Vegeta second fight... This fight SUCKED!!! Most of it happened off screen, the reason for the fight was dumb, the finish was dull. Everything about it was bad. Meanwhile, Goku & Vegeta first fight: Vegeta is finally done flexing after 4 pages. And in DBM, he's getting kicked around by Goku. xD |

The Buu Saga fight was a major letdown, making an anticipated rematch be a secondary plot was certainly a choice. They even tried to hype up the idea earlier when Vegeta was selected to fight Goku in the first round of the tournament so can't even say the story didn't try to build to the possibility.

Well, it was still a decent match (kind of, not really that good), but your right, it could have been much more. Unfortunately I guess it wasn't meant to be simply because Vegeta wasn't on Goku's level. Vegeta needed Babidi's help just to match SSJ2 Goku. At least DBM to their credit managed to complete that for us.

the anime did the 2nd fight better, as the fight kinda needed some filler to make it exciting.

Just curious, are you specifically gonna do the Goku vs. Vegeta portion of the fight only for the Saiyan Saga or include Gohan, Krillin & Yajirobe entering the fray?
