And honestly the only reason he is doing this is because he doesn't have a grasp of how spent Goku currently is due to the Kaioken's side effects. The Great Ape isn't an outside power, so Vegeta could absolutely think Goku not having a tail is just evidence on how Goku is inferior, and thus Vegeta is showing his superiority by using his true Saiyan might. After all, if a low level warrior couldn't even protect their tail, the source of their race's greatest ability, then it just shows they are failure. Thus, it is the Great Vegeta's right to crush him with their race's true power. Now if we're talking about if Cell arc Vegeta would accept Bulma's blutz wave machine from DBGT to regain access to Great Ape form to beat an enemy I would agree with you. Vegeta's head space then would be he needs outside help to regain his former glory. That would shatter his ego. |
