Chapter 28 leaks with material that is already very different from the Anime. Vermoud has a harem? Goku meets the GoD's & Angels before the exhibition match GoD Fight? Not sure if it's safe to say that Beerus is the "strongest" but he did seem pretty cool and confident in the panels above. It's weird how Beerus in the manga seems a lot more... involved. First he manhandled Vegeta in the previous chapter, and now this. Anime Beerus' greatest feat so far is that he... Hakai'd Zamasu...yeah. Well, at least the manga makes it more apparent as to why Goku & Vegeta aren't at his level compared to how vaguely the anime presents it. Other stuff like Vermoud's harem is funny; however I don't quite understand how that makes him a good guy necessarily...?

That would be cool if that is the case. Only question is why are they exactly fighting? To impress Zeno? Some other details about the chapter: -The two Zenos have the conversation to reduce things down to four Universes before he ever shows up at their palace in this chapter. -Gowasu and Rumoosh are in the process of discussing Zamasu's mistakes when the Grand Priest calls them. -Rumoosh is pissed that they got help from Beerus to solve the problem, as he hates him the most out of the other Hakaishin. -Vermoud has apparently been a Hakaishin for 87,910,715 days (slightly over 240,851 Earth years). The clown party is to celebrate that. Nice to see some continuity with the previous arc by having Rumoosh being aware of the whole thing. Makes him look less of an idiot. The Zenos also having the discussion to erase the universes beforehand makes the GP seem less sinister now. Vermoud is also possibly the youngest GoD right now as he's only had it for a little over 240,000 years. A novice compared to Beerus' 75,000,000+ years.

By the way, the bolded makes Beerus look even worse now. Beerus had 75,000,000 years of spare time to turn his universe "first world" and still is at one of the lowest ranking. Vermoth has only a couple hundred of thousands of years and is already the 5th ranking universe despite being the GoD that has less time on the job. Vermouth may not be much stronger than Beerus, but he's certainly a far more competent ruler.

Just read the whole chapter in Korean: www.dragonballnoticias.com/manga-28-dragon-ball-superNothing thus far indicates Beerus is the strongest god. If anything, it seems all the gods are relatively even. From what I saw all the advantages (if any) Beerus got was due to his smarts (making Champa, Rumshi and Quitela knock Mosco out, and using Champa as a distraction while hiding beneath Mosco). Beerus launched a huge attack and everyone looked worried, but then again Sidra stopped it just as easily using the A17-barrier technique. I also liked all the small insights of other universes. Quitela literaly lives in a rat nest, Vermouth is a pimp, Araq is some Voodoo-master at a fire, it seems U8 was late due to the Kaioshin was taking a shit, etc. Toppo is there too, without cloak. None of the U9 wolves are present.

Looks early to draw any proper conclusion but immediate thought to my head regarding the GoD battle is that "everyone tests Beerus to see why he would let his mortal speak out of turn. Is he competent enough to stay on the job? Is he strong enough to keep this foul mouth Ass in place?" (Hehe, English dub)
My 2 cents on that battle. Since GP literally transported everyone, maybe the anime's exhibition match will continue as normal, summon the wolves there and then and same with Gohan and Buu. That would me they have even less time to prepare than the anime counterparts.

Why is this chapter taking so long to translate? Too much info perhaps? Last ones were already translated in less than a day. We've had full page leaks since 4 days ago or so.

It's been translated, I just read it on Viz.
It's a good chapter, Beerus shows off he's one of the better fighters among the GoDs, Belmod talks about retiring and appointing Toppo as his successor (few pages earlier, he talks about how many days he has been a GoD, which comes down to about 240+ thousand years, a lot shorter than Beerus for example).
The Zenos decided to want to erase the universes during their game of chess, no longer wanting to look over 12 universes and wanting it to down them to just 4 universes. Surprisingly, it's Goku's request for a tournament where the two Zenos realize they cant hold one if they erase all the other universes. This might be a subtle foreshadowing to the end of it.

Overall a decent chapter, but it felt really short.
Beerus is a straight up BEAST though. Would've eliminated FIVE Gods of Destruction in one fell swoop, including Geene, if Sidra hadn't put up a barrier at the last second and was able to punt Champa up into the air without anyone realizing it and using his resemblance to fool everyone from a distance as a decoy.
It also talks about the Beerus-loses-at-arm-wrestling incident, but here establishes it was Quitela who beat him, not a mortal.
That said, the fact that the exhibition match is between the GoDs and not a hastily assembled team of Gohan, Buu and Goku vs the Trio de Dangers makes me think Buu will get even less screen time in the manga than he did in the anime. Which also means they'll need some other event to push Gohan into training again since he skipped the tournament with Champa, isn't fighting against one of the Trio and almost dying and the manga skipped over RoF entirely so no torture by Frieza/Piccolo dying for him again to motivate him to train either. Unless there's something I'm missing. I suppose just the "train like hell for the Tournament of Power" excuse could work, but I'd like to see Gohan be a bit more proactive in both the anime and the manga.

Unless I missed something, there's no proof that Manga Gohan's power has actually dropped off the way film & animated Gohan's did. His appearance in the manga version of the BoG arc is post-Beerus having snapped and shows him & Mr Buu getting slapped back (presumaby after Beerus gave them a quick whuppin' as the fight itself started off-panel), and Gohan seems to be in 'mystic' form (although it's hard to tell) So it's entirely possible Manga Gohan is like DBM Gohan and never lost his ultimate mystic powaaah. Which on the one hand deprives us of Gohan trainign & resolve montages, but on the other stops him being a useless supporting cast member who forgets how to Super Saiyan, which I;m all for

Nah, Gohan was Mystic during the BoG movie and anime as well, the thing was that he stopped training after the revelation of Videl being pregnant and thus having him focus more on family. In the brief RoF manga (that only got halfway in, to promote the movie), still has Gohan saying that he's sure he can go Super Saiyan, hopefully. So Gohan still go ridiculously weak within the timespan of about a year or so.

Nevermind. Read it. This panel pretty much confirms Beerus is not the strongest GoD: Since nothing about Ningen Level has been stated, and the "non-participant" universes haven't been directly mentioned at all, it is likely Liquir, Araq, Gene and Iwan will be the last standing fighters. It is also been confirmed it was Quitela who beat Beerus in arm wrestling. Belmod is an asshole. Gene seems like a pretty solid guy, as is Arak and Sidra (though this was very naive on his part)

Dude literally was gonna blow up the planet after they treated him to a good time and everything. The amount of apathy in his face when he says it too just makes him even more frightening. It's also nice to see Arak being so calm and composed to highlight why his universe is exempt from the ToP. It's a nice contrast to the participating GoD's flaws like Helles' conceited nature, or Rumoosh & Sidra's incompetence towards handling issues.

Namikaze Some other interesting factors. -Mosco seems to be really brash. It seems he says something like "WTF?? Only 40 hours?! The fuck is wrong with you Zeno?!" -Gene appears like a really honorable dude, thanking Sidra, and showing no signs of superiority complex towards him. He seems a bit less easy going than in the anime though. -The fox dude also appeared really easygoing and carefree in the anime while he seems really serious and reserved here. -Iwen personality is just about the same. Just like in the anime, he was the first one to enjoy the idea of fighting other GoDs, unlike Beerus, Champa, Rumshi, Sidra, etc who showed concern. -Gowasu and Rumshi's relationship appears more strained and less friendly than in the anime. They are more like Beerus and Shin here. - And very importantly, both Zeno-samas' speech patterns and thoughts appear a lot more individual and eloquent than in the anime. Just by reading their sentences, you would not think they are too child like. They also seem more intelligent as both understand chess, whereas in the anime they were just spinning balloons.

I gotta admit, this is a more epic Exhibition match than the 3 V 3 Match of U7 V U9. Speaking of U9, Sidra isn't just hesitant to destroy, he's more calculating in the Manga than the Anime's interpretation. U9's SK doesn't appear to be a jackass like he was in the anime, he seems more disappointed the planet couldn't be spared, rather than just trying to ditch the mess of a planet in the anime.
Beerus' sleeping habits has finally kicked his ass more over here than the anime where the only real problem was just shrinking King Kai's planet and a grumpy awakening to meet SSG Goku (Aka intro to DBS) Also funny scene with SK U8 taking a crap XD
Last comment, if Toppo is the planned successor GoD for U11, somebody explain why the Anime hyped us (supposedly) as hell for Jiren as the Final Boss?... unless this is due to the mix-up reveal for the cloaked warrior in the anime, then that means the final boss in the Manga is gonna be Toppo instead... unless Toyotaro reflects this mix up and fixes the story to match it. Still, can't wait to see what Manga Toppo has to offer us in his abilities as the chosen successor for U11's GoD
