WTF dude? Hide that shit in Spoilers. Thanks a lot for spoiling the end of the newest DBS chapter before I could even read it.
That's just like a gag man. It's not even important for the chapter. Only important things here mostly happen off-screen or are just exposition.
Still not cool to ruin it in a thread that isn't about the DBS manga and therefore is completely unexpected.

Honestly mate it's a simple matter of physics and common sense. This outcome was literally inevitable.

I don't get the joke. Besides, what does Shitpickle have to do with anything DBZ.

Of course Moro would defeated a fused Namekian, but what bothered me is finding out about the fusion even taking place before I read the chapter.

New chapter is out!
-Moro takes three days to gather three Dragonballs. I assume the only reason he hasn't gathered them is so he doesn't slaughter all the Nameks since I'm pretty sure the Earth Dragonballs can't resurrect them. As long as Moori is alive, they'll probably wish back the Nameks at the end.
-Beerus doesn't care about a race with no good food and only drinks water. I guess that answers the question if the ToP's mortal ranking will ever be brought up again.
-Mini Gast is killed in one hit. I'm not sure why the Nameks thought he would stand a chance after Moro defeated two SSJBs and drained their power.
I'm curious where this saga is going to go from here. It looks like it might all take place on Namek with the way it's playing out. Moro is slowly gathering the Dragonballs, Goku and Vegeta are probably going to plan their next move, and Buu is awake so Meerus will try to get the GK out. I was hoping we would get to see more of the universe and explore other planets besides Namek.

I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news but I think Moro might be removed from DBS. I have happened upon some disturbing evidence in relation to one of his past crimes and I think it's high time he pays for his sins. Warning! This isn't for the faint of heart: This was taken by a scaroused passerby who could do nothing but watch as the heinous events unfolded before their eyes. Absolutely disgusting. #metoo #believesurvivors #meltmoro

Of course Moro would defeated a fused Namekian, but what bothered me is finding out about the fusion even taking place before I read the chapter.
The two questions I have is: - Why haven't the Namekians considered fusion against Frieza in canon? Obviously Frieza was a danger to the Namekian race as much as Moro is except fusion would have actually helped there.
- Why hasn't Moro already gathered the Dragon Balls, is he waiting for Goku and Vegeta to heal so he can steal their energy? If so that's a pretty bold move and somewhat badass.
Not really big questions though really. Q1 can be answered by the fact that sacrifice isn't something to take lightly and Q2 can be summed up by the fact he is taking his time is because of Goku and Vegeta being valuable to him. Moro is definitely one of the more interesting characters as far as villains go in DBS compared to angsty SSJR Goku Black and Zamasu (though a villain kai was an interesting idea on paper) and a retarded Frieza (Goku isn't the only one who caught the stupid in DBS). This is probably one of the more interesting arcs period in DBS.

drewsagaQ1's Answer: I'd actually chalk it up to Frieza and his forces exterminating the Namekians to gather the Dragon Balls too quickly. Frieza and his forces likely gathered the 5 DBs they had in their possession prior to the Scouters being destroyed within a span of hours. Moro has gathered 3 in 3 days, so it gave them plenty of time to quickly pull together their strongest warriors from the 7 villages. Also Moro might not even be killing the Namekians and instead is maybe just incapacitating the ones in the villages he steals the DBs from. Additionally the warriors as shown in DBZ tend to be away from the village tending crops &/or training during the day, so they wouldn't necessarily end up as casualties. Q2's Answer: I think you got the right answer for your own question.

Chapter 47 is out. -Moro has collected six Dragonballs and attempting to collect the last one. -Vegeta asks Moori if the Nameks hold a grudge for him killing those Nameks during the Freeza saga. I really like this scene! That village was never brought up after Vegeta reformed. -Buu arrives to fight Moro with Grand Kaioshin's memories restored. I'm going to assume magic resistence or something is how he's able to keep up with Moro. I'm not sure how Buu is able to block any of his attacks though especially after absorbing the energy from Goku and Vegeta. Buu must prove that he is the superior of the two ancient magical demons who fought the Kaioshin millions of years ago! It looks like this saga might be ending soon unless Moro is able to escape Namek or there's a twist. This might only be a manga-only filler saga before Toriyama's next storyline then. I was hoping it would be more than that since I thought Moro was a pretty cool villain. Oh well!

If they wanted short arc, they wouldn't have invested time into Moro. If they wanted to make short filler kind of arc they would have placed generic antagonist. Too much build up to end this in chapter or two.

I wonder if Moro knows anything about Majin Buu and the origins of his magical powers? We know that Buu has existed since time immemorial, so it wouldn't be too farfetched to say Moro has at least heard of Buu in some capacity. Even Frieza and King Cold heard about Buu and his frightening power.
While Bibidi released Buu from his ancient slumber 5 million years after Moro was imprisoned by Grand Supreme Kai, it could be a possibility that Moro's dark magic is similar to that of Bibidi's and Babidi's. I would fear that Moro would somehow learn of the spell used to seal Buu, and use that to put our pink blob friend back into his cocoon.

Most of the sagas in DBS have been fairly short and straightforward. The Galactic Patrol needed to revive Grand Kaioshin or at least his memories out of Buu since he was the one who defeated Moro last time and now the two are fighting. Unless Moro gets his wish or has a way to counter Grand Kaioshin's magic that he used before, I'm not sure how this saga could last much longer. Goku and Vegeta have already lost and powering-up even more with fusion or a new form just gives Moro more energy to absorb.

There isn't really anything I can add to your comment for myself. I am super hyped for what's to come. I really don't think it'll be short OR at the very least hope that the anime expands upon if it is short in the manga.
Have you seen Geekdom101's newest video theory featuring R2R productions about what might come after Moro for the anime/manga? It is a very good theory video and I hope that something like it comes to pass.

I would prefer it remains a one time thing with Future Trunks. This sounds like Xenoverse to be honest but I guess it's inevitable since there aren't many ideas left to use. I've always hoped it would end for good before exhausting every possible fanfic/video game idea.

Eh to each their own. I myself am in the camp where I desperately want this to happen as long as they don't fuck it up. I think Heroes is a good skeleton concept and if the human is built correctly on the skeleton that Super could do a really good version of Heroes/Xenoverse.

I think Heroes is a good skeleton concept and if the human is built correctly on the skeleton that Super could do a really good version of Heroes/Xenoverse. For all we know, they may already suggested for Toriyama to use a similar concept from Xenoverse. The game is a few years old and we only know of the ideas he accepted. I just don't have a lot of faith in them handling a long saga. Toriyama's outline will likely be short so Toei's new batch of writers have to fill in the rest. I just think current Toriyama works better with shorter, simpler stories like with BoG and Broly. Edit: I looked through the other storylines for the video games/Heroes and I think the current Universal Conflict saga might be the most fitting follow-up to the ToP. We have some guys wanting to overthrow the ruler of the multiverse and Goku is training with the most powerful Angel. Broly and Moro I guess could be seen as "breather" sagas since the threat to U7 or parts of U7 is pretty minor compared to what Zeno was threatening. It already feels stagnant with how so many threats are emerging within a few days of each other in this "peaceful" timeskip. I don't know how long that could go on for but I think one colossal high stakes finale saga would be more satisfying that several sagas of minor threats.

So in the span of my little break DBS has introduced it's own mini-Gast, and then killed him. Lovely. Not that it was a surprise, mini-Gast didn't even break what's-his-face's scouter! If he couldn't do that, of course he wasn't going to amount to much!
As for Beerus not caring about Namek, he might care if Whis bothered to tell him WHY the planet's levels were dropping, or that Goku and Vegeta were, oh you know, FIGHTING FOR THEIR LIVES AGAINST AN ANCIENT EVIL and not some backwater redneck "planet-buster" which DBS has officially now made a term used, and of which there are a dime-a-dozen in DB land.
They really should've considered fusing before, y'know, during Frieza's attack. It's not like Frieza bothered to hide his power level beyond his reduction forms after all, clearly they would've sensed how powerful he was at the time, even before he set foot on the planet itself. Then again apparently it took them like half a week to even get organized, proving once again that DB travel speed is as fast or as slow as the plot requires them to be.
The GP can also apparently develop a goo net that can hold even MORO down temporarily. Man, if only they'd prioritized something like that when Frieza was running amok and screaming about how he was the ruler of the universe. Or the second time Frieza started running around screaming he was back and was the ruler of the universe. Or really if they didn't suck at their jobs then Frieza or the Saiyans wouldn't have ever been a problem apparently. But this isn't too new, relatively speaking.
As for Buu being able to stand up to Moro...I got nothing. The energy absorption not working on him is one thing, but as @skar has already said he's absorbed ALL of Goku and Vegeta's energy by now. Goku can't IT. Both of them can barely even power up without gasping in pain after Dende 2.0 marginally healed them over the course of 3 days. Buu really shouldn't be standing up against him at all, even Kid Buu was kicking his ass. Especially since he didn't train like he did in the anime, so he's been doing nothing but eating, sleeping, and jobbing to Mr. Satan. I mean COME ON, even #17 at least worked as a park ranger to get stronger geez!
I would say that MAYBE he can only temporarily hold onto power, were it not for Vegeta blatantly saying he was even stronger than when he had fought them. So yeah, nothing.
This also once again is another reason why Buu would've been OP in the ToP.

Meh.
Buu just kicks Moro's ass some more and has gotten stronger because of "unlocking memories to unleash his latent potential", or something. I don't buy that. I just can't. Fat Buu is now stronger than post-ToP Goku and Vegeta, as well as Moro after draining both of them of all their strength. That is absurd. I mean, par for the course DBS nowadays I guess, but still. Tien's multi-arm technique even comes back at long last, except Buu uses it and makes it better by adding another pair of arms. Admittedly in a cool way since he can break the arms off and keep punching Moro with them while not paying attention to him.
Funny thing is, Moro would never have known to contact Cranberry if Goku and Vegeta hadn't been loudly bemoaning the fact that Porunga had been summoned. Just let Buu do his thing while you go check that out without loudly screaming about the wish granting dragon!
Elder Moori then dies but...I guess he wasn't...connected to the DBs? Who is if not him?! Porunga should've up and died right there! Random ex-Frieza soldier has had a mind control helmet on hand this whole time?
If nothing else Grand Supreme Buu has healed Goku and Vegeta back to full, wonder how they're going to avoid being snacked on again. Probably Kai magic.
Meh. At least Buu's six-armed beatdown was cool while it lasted.
