2. I really want to believe Zeno is smarter than he acts but the Zamasu saga ruined that for me. During that saga, he had no idea that all the gods were killed until Goku happened to press the Zeno button. Even then he didn't seem like he knew what was actually going on when he decided to wipe out the universe. That's why I really want the two Zenos to kill each other. I just hate the idea of him being the supreme ruler of the universe while being the most dangerous and unstable at the same time. 6. You had me at "erase the entire Super series" ! While there are some parts of DBS that I like, there isn't enough for me to want it to be canon to be honest. I wouldn't have a problem with it being erased at the end. That way it could be treated like one of the movies. 2. It's both a good and a bad thing. I was a bit worried at the introduction of Zeno because I don't really like the thought of a guy who can destroy the entire multiverse, is immortal, is immature, has no remorse when he kills people, and has no rival. With the inclusion of Future Zeno, Zeno's got an equal, so if either of them ever went crazy, the other could fight him. That's a good thing. The bad side of this is that any fight between two Zenos is bound to end up with all of creation destroyed. 6. I feel the same way. While I greatly enjoy Beerus and Whis, and U6 has some fun characters, on the whole I prefer the status quo as it was at the time Toriyama finished DBZ over twenty years ago. I'd much rather treat Super like GT: watch and enjoy the good parts, make fun of the bad parts. If you ask my opinion, I wouldn't be surprised if five or ten or twenty years from now the fanbase puts it and GT in the same boat: a "canon" sequel nobody thinks is canon because, despite some fun characters and promising ideas, it's a bit too silly, a bit too flawed, and messes with the established lore too much. Though I hate "it was all a dream" or "let's reset everything back to status quo" endings, that might be the best for Super, because such an ending would be so ridiculous and lame that nobody would be able to take Super seriously afterward. "But Super said potara only lasts an hour!" "Lol, shut up man, who cares? Super hit the reset button on its own story!" I would like to think Super has a bit more life in it than a two year run, but it's kind of hard to find somewhere to go after a multiverse tournament hosted by the highest god. Anything afterward will be very unimpressive by comparison.

Anything afterward will be very unimpressive by comparison. Yeah, that's my main concern here as well. Once the entire universe is threatened with destruction, where do you go? Nothing can possibly be a bigger threat than a universe buster like Zeno.

I think having a short run might be for the best. There really isn't much else the series can cover in the limited time span it has. If Toriayam had any sense of foresight he would have set this months after Buu's final defeat, so they would have ten years to play around with instead of just five. Unless they are willing to go the extra mile and just retcon the final two chapters of DB manga out to allow Super to have free reign they can't really fit so much in just four years they have left. Pan is already born and Bra isn't even hinted at yet. Super only having two years works best to at least try to keep intact with the original/main manga series. If Toriayam is fine with changing things to allow Super to continue as it will then it doesn't matter anymore and Super can go on for as long as they can make money off it and keep it canon.
It might be smarter to stop trying to champion this as canon and do what Fullmetal Alchemist did and have an anime/manga that diverged from the manga to be its own thing and keep the manga untouched.

Or just make it another alternate timeline. 1. Somewhere, DBZ continued without Beerus. He overslept or something and never bothered to come to Earth. Goku's excited to fight Uub, no SSG/SSB, etc. 2. DBS 3. Future Trunks timeline 4. DBGT *gets mauled*

Alternate timeline works too. Honestly I don't get the big deal with making this canon anymore. If the series is good people will acknowledge it. The original Fullmetal Alchemist anime strayed from the manga, but it was still a well done series that people have no problem acknowledging. Even people prefer the manga and more manga faithful Brotherhood anime still like the old anime series for what it is. Dragon Ball just needs to focus on making a good story, not worry about isn't canon or not.

Son Pan I agree, it doesn't have to be canon to be good. I would've preferred if they went the Marvel/DC route and included everything in a big multiverse. That way they could preserve the original manga the way it was and have all these new storylines take place in a new similar timeline. I haven't watched the original Star Trek but I've seen the recent movies and I think they were pretty good. If I recall, something happened in the first film that caused them to diverge from the original canon into their own new AU. Using this format, they could milk the series for decades without upsetting fans of the original manga. If we don't like any of the new material, we can rest easy knowing it all takes place in an alternate universe. Batman: TAS is considered probably the best DC cartoon. I'm sure some fans of Batman: TAS didn't like Brave and the Bold, The Batman, or whatever else came out but at least they could view them all taking place in their own separate continuities.

So guys we can pretty much confirm that Bra is happening in DBS. Hermes translated the upcoming DBS episodes and Bulma is apparently up the duff. Soooo....Thoughts anybody? I'm glad someone remembered that Vegeta had another kid. Plus, it will be nice to see how a post-buu saga Vegeta interacts with his baby, especially a little girl. I do enjoy these small character interactions so far, so i'm actually looking forward to these upcoming episodes.

If Super passes End of Z, then it could incorporate it, have a small timeskip, then continue with Uub in the cast.

I don't know if it would be the last saga, it would be a big one no doubt and not every saga is necessary about topping up over the other. Golden frieza was certainly not a higher threat then Beerus, and the U6 v U7 contest didn't have the same threat as the BoG adaption. The main thing is that there is something to keep the story going, we should also expect this to be a long arc.
I think we may see two more arcs after this but neither story needs to outdo each other in relation to the threats faced.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't he not even born yet in Super (well after Pan has been born)? I guess they can just retcon some stuff in Super to make it line up. The series should have been set after the original manga anyway. That way they wouldn't have their hands so tied.

So just watched Ep 73.
I actually liked it, filler though it was.
Gohan may be a slacker, but at least he's consistent. Just as he gave up training to support his family, he also gave up crimefighting as the Great Saiyaman. Hell, he only agrees to be the stunt double just to impress Pan later on down the road. The villain for this and the next episode seems to be kinda like Baby from GT. A parasite that infects a host and gives it extra strength, that escapes from Jaco.
Gohan storming into the bank for Great Justice and knocking Krillin out unintentionally was hilarious. Truly another count for the TFS "Krillin Owned Count". Then there were the two criminals who Gohan had completely forgotten about, but who remembered him for every day they spent in prison. Truly a "But For Me, It Was Tuesday" moment.
Almost as funny was when he almost straight up killed the guy with a Kamehameha, then saw he had an audience and just did a weak finger ki blast instead.
Next preview seems to have the douchebag actor get infected by the parasite, except he powers up a lot more than the other guy does, and Gohan and Jaco have to team up to take him down. I'm guessing it's powerful enough to get Gohan to go Super Saiyan, if that big glow the alien's staring in awe at is any indicator. That or he's about to eat a Masenko to the face.
It's times like these where I don't think humor is misplaced in DB. It's when serious talk about how the timelines are getting disrupted by a mysterious villain who looks identical to Goku are happening, and then Pilaf is running around with some harebrained scheme that I despise.
EDIT: I actually wouldn't mind if they just did a spinoff show where Gohan went off space patrolling with Jaco, either as himself or as the Great Saiyaman. Gives Gohan some action, allows for that silly humor DB loves to put in, and the stakes wouldn't be nearly as high as they would be if Goku or Vegeta had to get involved, so him not having SSB or some equally ridiculous hair color doesn't matter in the scope of things. Plus it gets Gohan out of the way, so maybe the Gohan fans would get slightly appeased and not at a constant state of disappointment with the poor guy.

Upcoming episodes spoilers Episode 74 - Continuation of episode 73, that watagashi worm destruction awaits. Episode 75 - Goku's training in this and next episode Episode 76 - Kuririn/Krillin is picked as the bored Gokus Training Partner under Roshi, just like old times. They are assigned task to bring Paradise herb grass from forest. There they encounter Cell, Freeza and buu and other foes of past.
Episode 77 - “When Goku goes to Bulma’s house to train with Whis, he finds her belly has gotten big, and he learns she is pregnant with her second child. What’s more, she’ll be giving birth soon, and Vegeta is so nervous he can’t calm down!”
Of course, fans of the Dragon Ball franchise will know who this second child is. Bulma and Vegeta will give birth to Bulla, a precocious hybrid Saiyan who is the spitting image of her mother. The character was introduced in Dragon Ball Z and reappeared throughout Dragon Ball GT. Her personality may make Bulla like her father, and the two are quite close. Bulla is also close friends with Pan and Marron, the daughters of Gohan/Videl and Krillin/Android 18.
I wonder if this Bulla is japanese word for Bra, or entirely different character from GT lol. I got this info from another website so i felt like sharing it here. EDIT - yes bulla is bra - dragonball.wikia.com/wiki/Bulla

The parasite alien gave that movie star the weird bunch of transformations. First he gained more muscle and an antenna which wasn't too weird, then he transformed into a giant gorilla with a mullet (reminded me of Jesse Venture for some reason. No offense to him because I think he's cool!), and finally transformed into some type of reptile monster thing. It's like Toei had some backup designs for different aliens and decided "nah let's just give them all to one guy and come up with better ones later!".
