I should clarify that I meant his Zenkai. I think he's probably still immortal (he'll get Garlic Juniored I'm sure). Unless they can either make a new tag on the spot or somehow get the tag from the past....not sure how he'll get Garlic Juniored. And it's quite clear Vegetto will be returning since Gowasu and Shin are there. So I doubt they'll use the Mafuba as a lasting end to the fight. Also The Masterman I agree Goku's stupidity was annoying way before now lol its like they returned his intelligence to back during the Saiyan saga or something.

I feel privileged to be able to join you.
Getting to the point, I really dislike the idea that such a weak and comical technique would and should do a serious part in DBS. Mafuba was efficient on low level opponents like Piccolo Daimao or Kami-sama, but someone at Zamasu's tier - it is inconceivable. Plus a container. A jar with a magic spell on it (at least me sure that spell was prepared by some high tier magician like Babidi, but Turtle-senin!?)!? Bitch please! It was a waste of our time. A waste of the half of the episode.
Beaides, do you think merged Zamasu is immortal since his counterpart was?

I imagine that the Mafuba's effectiveness depends on the person using it. Master Mutaito and Roshi killed themselves using it, but Tien and Trunks didn't. I imagine it works a bit like a Kienzan or Kaioken, in that a Mafuba allows you to temporarily overpower somebody who's normally stronger than you. As for keeping Zamasu imprisoned...maybe it's a bit like Super Buu's innards and the technique/seal magically makes the imprisoned person weaker? I'd think fused Zamasu is still immortal.

Sadly it only served to pad the runtime and force them to fuse. And yeah I believe he'll be immortal. Oh and it might be stronger the stronger the user is. Edit: welcome.

I'd like to think the pecking order goes like this (I have no serious proof though): Alive person + dead person = Alive fusion Alive person + alive person = Alive fusion Alive person + immortal person = Immortal fusion. So, it goes like this... Immortal > Living Being > Dead Being in the case of fusions.

And as we all know, So yeah, I agree with you. (100% immortal + 0% immortal)/2 = 50% immortal, which is, by the same logic, still immortal. (I mean, how the heck would you define "half immortal," anyway? You can't be killed only ever other week?)

Indeed, Mafuba's risk depends on a fighter's skill and stanima (and plot convenience), but I can't stand an idea that it could be efficient on the level faaar beyond Piccolo Daimao. Esp. using silly containers (the rice cooker for the king of demons was silly enough and even then I was dissapointed. Thought I knew Toriyama's jokes). I hope TOEI and Toriyama wont forget Zamasu's immortality or at least they will try to explain how it got neutralized.

Also Trunks and Goku didn't lose energy while practicing it so I guess Saiyans are able to endure the "pain" better than humans. Also the fusion inherits traits of the fuse-ee so yeah he's immortal and possesses Zenkai. Not sure how the two would work.

Speaking of which, how do you guys think Vegetto would look like? Vegeta doesn't use the same clothing as Buu saga anymore, but instead uses his normal Cell Saga clothing. So therefore, Vegetto's vest should look slightly different. I personally would like it to be just like in Buu saga, but having a long sleeve orange, turtle neck spandex. Vegetto's gi and pants would be like those of Goku, but blue. He'd also have gloves and saiyan boots. His belt (or what do you call it?) would be orange, as in the manga (in the anime it was blue). I'd personally like Vegeta's armor to be discarded because I believe it clashes with the overall aesthetic of Vegetto. We have Vegito's clothing confirmed.

Vegito is back? Finally! I get to enjoy my favourite fusion without all the guilt U16 is saddled with. The Retro KakarottoDepends on if the immortality interacts with his biology at all(sorry I don't have a better way to put it). If it does, no zenkais because you can't be near death if you can't die. If it doesn't, then everytime his body receives an injury that should be fatal and heals, there's a zenkai. But at his level he'd need to be reduced down to the cellular level to have the jump in power be significant.

But at this point, even I don't think he'd get a Zenkai, the portaras already made him too powerful. Dunno about the new purple half though, that's interesting to hear the explanation.

Some are wondering (ME) if when Mai shot Blacks ear ring if it messed it up. Seeing jelly Zamasu makes me wonder more. Will destroying the ear-ring or time ring stop Zamasu

Will destroying the ear-ring or time ring stop Zamasu That's actually an interesting point! Maybe part of the earring cracked but we didn't see it! At this point though I don't think destroying the earrings would affect White and the time ring is still just a big unknown in general.

IIRC, the purple half was on the right and Zamasu was the one who had the earring on the right side, (Black's is on the left). Bold: Time ring is literally missing from the Merged form's hand. Where TF is it!?

Q: "Can SSB3.5+ Vegito take Beerus" Toriyama: "Nah"
It bothers me how "Who's the strongest fighter out of them all" was answered. The person asking the question obviously meant Fused Zamasu and Vegito. Saying "Well, Beerus is strong, but after him is Goku Black" is pointless. We already knew Beerus could beat Goku Black. What about the fusions?
How the heck is Fused Zamasu being one person supposed to be a weakness? Or stealing Goku's body? I sense a Deus Ex Machina incoming. I also question how Trunks is supposed to be of any help in the upcoming battle when he's, like, 4 tiers of power irrelevant by now.
That little comment about Vegito having a special weakness "not normally found in Potara Fusions" makes me pretty certain Vegito isn't going to beat Zamasu. They'll come up with some lame excuse to get Vegito to defuse so they have to find another way to win.
